7 Day Auction, ending Saturday March 31:GROOVY Survivor, 1 Owner 1978 Chevy G20 "Bonanza" Short Wheel Base Cargo.5.7 350 Chevrolet V8 - Automatic TransmissionPurchased new at Lou Grubb Chevrolet of Phoenix Arizona, then moved to Madison Alabama in 1998, and finally here in Texas since 1999, never in salt or snow. Original Paint on straight body, no rust, no accident history or repainted panels, numerous touch up spots and thin areas throughout - great patina.Crease in sliding door, see picture.It's amazing how much attention this van gets - would be great for promoting a business. Swivel bucket seats, old authentic Crager SS Wheels - plenty of patina on them too, but they look great on the van! Always starts right up, stops and shifts properly. I've driven it all over locally, but unsure of the age of the tires, so not sure about driving it across country. Has Tilt Wheel and air conditioning, not working, everything seems to be there. Fan blows with a hot wire. Radio works. Good glass all around, one rock chip in windshield. Nice chrome bumpers. All of the gauges function properly except for the gas gauge- seems to have a mind of it's own, float I Imagine. Dual Exhaust with headers.
