1962 Cheverolet Impala SS resto mod, pro touring
Description
I am selling a few of my personal vehicles on ebay, this is the one that I will miss the most.
This car is located in Langley BC. This car is over 25 years old so importing it to the USA, is super simple. This vehicle has a California VIN and was imported into Canada about 10 years ago, so importing it very easy. If you want to pick up the car on the USA side of the border, that can be arranged but there will be a fee that is charged by the customs broker which shouldn't be more than $500. You will receive all the paperwork to walk into your local DMV and get a state title. I have sold a few cars to the USA and look at my feedback, we are here to make the purchase as smooth as possible.
I have had most of what is done to the car done over the last 3 years.
The engine is a LS based truck motor, 5.3 out of a 2011 Silverado with a 4L60 transmission. The ECU is the original one from the vehicle as well, so it's a complete transplant. (50,000 Miles on transplant)
Car has working heat and AC (vintage air)
The gauges are Dakota digital and have been in the car since the build was completed and I have done 3800 miles.
The quarter panels are in good shape and have never been replaced, the lower rear rockers (behind the rear wheels) have been repaired before I owned it and were done well. The paint is a 7 out of 10, when it's washed and waxed, it shows well but this is a driver and I don't park it at the back of the parking lot. The trip is in good shape other than the front bumper used to have bumper guards so there is some wear where they were bolted in. The taillight panel has a sticker overlay with the SS swirls, but you wouldn't noticed unless I told you.
The stereo is all controlled by your phoned (bluetooth streaming) Has 2 subs, Hertz speakers, and Hertz amp. The rear deck lid has not been cut.
The wheels are VIP modular and around $1500 a corner and were customer built for me. They are 19x9 and 19x11, tires are like new.
Suspension is all modular in the front with lowering springs and new shocks, not cheap shocks either.
The brakes are Willwood 6 piston front and 4 piston rear with a willwood master cylinder and new brake booster.
The interior has bucket seats, the wrong year center console but it works. The seats are in good shape, the rear panels don't match the front, so that was on my to do list this year as well as the carpet isn't "mint"
I was also going to replace the window trim and rubbers as they are not in the best shape.
The car has power door locks and a full alarm with remote start. I had the whole car rewired with a painless harness so not a single wire is from 1962.
I know I probably forgot a few things, so please message me and I can answer all your questions.
