The 1966-1967 Chevelles have always been a popular choice among muscle car enthusiasts. Chevelles with posts (piece between the two side windows) are rare and desirable since it looks cool and provides rigidity. This car was born as a 300 Deluxe that was built in Atlanta, GA as the VIN number indicates. From the research I’ve gathered an older gentleman from Arizona had this car restored from top to bottom and invested a small fortune in the build. I’m not sure of all the details since the car has exchanged a few hands since completion. It’s very obvious it’s a quality car that has a lot of great features thoughout! The exterior body is very straight and the gaps are nice. The hood, doors and trunk open and close nicely. The doors open and shut actually really nicely. It has an SS hood. I’m not what sheet metal was replaced but I’m sure whatever needed to be done was done. The entire car was painted in beautiful Marina Blue which looks amazing. The paint has been buffed to a really brilliant shine. Everything on the exterior has been restored or replaced including such items as all the glass trim, mirrors, door handles, bumpers and lights. I actually had the rear window trim removed and restored. I also added all the custom LS3 emblems which really look sweet. The car sits on Billet Specialties wheels that are 18x7 on the front and 20x10 on the rear. There wrapped in Sumitomo tires that are 235/40/18 on the front and 275/35/20 on the rear. These wheels look amazing on this car! The all new Blue interior is absolutely gorgeous and compliments the exterior color perfectly. Everything in the interior has been restored or replaced including such items as the headliner, sun visors, rear view mirror, dash, dash knobs, door panels, carpets, bucket seats and seat belts. The interior has many upgrades such as a Dakota Digital gauge cluster, Budnik steering wheel, tilt steering column, billet lokar shifter, custom sound system and carpeted floor mats! The engine compartment has been painted and is nicely detailed. Its home to the built LS3 Corvette engine. This engine has a Street Performance engine harness. It starts, runs and sounds great out the Hooker long tube headers and Flow Master exhaust system. The engine is equipped with March pulleys and a chrome 140 amp alternator. The engine is coupled with a rebuilt 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission which is extremely user friendly especially on the highway. The power is transferred to the pavement through a 10 bolt rear end with hardened axles and new 3:73 gears. The engine is cooled with a BeCool aluminum radiator. Doing a Corvette LS engine and transmission conversion isn’t easy. It’s also an expensive endeavor. Do your research and you’ll see that finding 1966-1967 Chevelles with LS conversions isn’t easy! The trunk compartment is very nice and freshly painted. Its home to the red top Optima battery The undercarriage is also very nice. Everything has been restored or replaced. There are many upgrades such as a Rock Valley stainless gas tank with billet cap, Strong Arm upper and lower control arms, New Coil overs all the way around and power SSBC four wheel disc brakes with slotted rotors. This car also has a power steering with a new steering pump and billet reservoir. We have collected and sold many beautiful Chevelles over the years. This Chevelle is a really cool car for so many different reasons. I love the fact that it’s a post car. There are so many Chevelles on the market but very little have a post. Most of these cars are long gone. This car underwent a full restoration with thousands of dollars were invested. This car has serious eyeball and attracts attention wherever she goes. This is a car that will definitely take home a trophy at a car show. It’s not a trailer queen that you’d be afraid to drive but a nice restoration that was built to drive. This Chevelle has great looks and all the options you could ask for in a classic car. There are so many advantages to the having a Corvette LS engine and 4L60E 4-speed transmission. This car also has power steering and power four wheel disc brakes which makes a big difference. If you’ve been searching for a 1966-1967 Chevelle that priced reasonable your search ends here.
