Description

This is a pretty clean 73 Camaro project that I've had sitting for a while. This is probably the most virgin second gen bodied Camaro I've had over the years. Other than the trunk lid, this car is all original paint/panels incl. the hood. The car started out as a low option Placer Gold on black interior car with a black vinyl top, V-8, 4 speed manual with a/c. Not much else. So it can be built anyway you want. The goods are it's never been apart so no searching for every last little bolt. It looks like the engine went, was pulled and the car got parked. I don't have the engine or trans. One thing kind of odd is it has a disc brake rear end like from a late 70's T/A or something. It's been in the car for a while. It comes with the rear glass, all the window and door glass trim, interior plastics and seat cores. The engine compartment is complete as far as wiper motor, a/c box, wiring etc. Even the water pump, power steering pump and some pulleys etc were in the car. You can't see in my pics too well but it even has the original wide rocker moldings still in place! Now for the bad. It was a vinyl top car so the roof looks like the moon surface. It will need some work around the rear glass channel (see pics). The drivers floor board will need a front pan and the rear drivers side "seat well" rusted through due to the rear glass being removed. More goods: The 1/4 panels are nice (except one little spot-see pic), the doors, hood, front fenders, rest of the floor, rockers, rear tail pan etc, upper trunk hinge area are all good. The dash is complete but curled. The car has been sitting in and out of covered storage for years, so it's out of the California DMV. So I'm selling as is with a bill of sale and statement of facts. The car rolls and we can help load it on your shipper of choice. I've done a few other cars in the past so I know the process. No reserve so this car will sell to the highest bidder. Please ask any questions as I'm very familiar with the second gens. This car is from dry Northern Cal (no rust from roads or coast salt etc) so should be a straight forward, solid car to build. Again, buyer is responsible for pick up or transporting. Thanks for checking it out.UPDATE: I added a few more pics showing the original 4 speed "hump" in the car and the disc rear. Also, the ignition key is in the column and works properly (no door key). Hood shuts nice as does the pass door, the driver door has a little sag.
