Description

1969 Chevy C-20

¾ Ton, Long Bed

Arizona Survivor

Ranch Truck

Up for auction is this super solid and all original ’69 C-20 Pickup. Rescued this ol’ girl from the dry Arizona desert. It’s been sitting for a while but she starts right up and drives. Two owner farm truck with its original blue exterior patina is super solid and straight as a rail. All original 350 motor with a single barrel carb. Runs great with no smoke or funny noises. I’d recommend a carb rebuild because the choke is finicky when cold. The tranny is a 4 speed manual that works great as it should. It’s a C-20 so it’s a ¾ ton and will tow anything with its heavy duty suspension. The interior is all original and complete. It will need the front bench reupholstered but it’s all there and complete. The front windshield is cracked but their inexpensive to replace and readily available. Dash is complete…even has the GM original radio intact and dash has not been cut up. The mileage shows 42,626, not sure of the original mileage or how many times it’s rolled over and confident it’s obviously not the original mileage but the pedals do not show much wear so maybe it’s only rolled over once. With regards to any rust issues, the only small area of concern would be the passenger side door sill/rocker. There is rust in its beginning stage. There is also some small bubbles on the tail gate but I don’t think it’s the original tailgate anyways but it’s not bad at all. Look at the pics…the floors, quarter panels, fenders, cowl, etc are super solid and rust free. The bed has the original wood floors and the wood will need to be replaced eventually and is showing some signs of rot which is typical for a truck of this age. The tires are severely weather checked and the truck is not roadworthy but will start, drive and brake without any issues.

These trucks are super-hot right now and there becoming harder to find especially all original and rust free. The ’69 is by far the best looking grill and the truck will not last long on the market. Everything is available for these trucks and would make a great hot rod or a restoration but at **NO RESERVE** you can’t go wrong with this great investment.
