BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
this truck came from a another shop here in town, the owner
had closed. Word has it, the motor is a stroked 383 SBC. I
no longer can get ahold of the last owner to confirm, but supposedly
its either recently been rebuilt (within the last few yrs) or he had
put a crate motor in it. He was building it to keep. When driving it
around, the power feels great, clutch and trans feel good too.
Paint looks to be original, and it looks to be an original Tucson sold
Chevy 4x4. I cant find any rot on the body and only surface rust
underneath. Nicely outfitted with fold down back seat and dual AC.
ACs not blowing cold, but it just may need to be charged.
This is NOT a restored truck, but just well kept and looks good for
its age. Its seen some mild off-roading and dirty underneath, but
AZ has a way of doing that to trucks. This truck is as solid as the
day it was made, I couldnt find any rot on the floors or body.
Its been mostly we gather an original Az

Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!
KEEP IN MIND this is a 35+ yr old non restored square body GM
DRIVETRAIN: factory V8 as mentioned earlier on starts, runs
and drives fine. Plenty of power on tap. Factory 4 spd and 4x4
works well too. Its not restored but has had updates and repairs
done over the yrs as needed. Some of the heater hoses under the
hood are Silicone for long life. Could be a 350 or possibly a stroker
motor. Brakes feel good. Factory 15x8 Rally wheels. Tires are a
little mis matched, but all 4 are 33x12.50s
This motor is prob close to 300+ HP all day long. Mild cam you
can barely hear, but runs great. Not 1984 good, better!
INTERIOR: take a look at the pics. Very original and yes a bit dry, but
a little dirty for its age. The front seat look okay, but bit dusty.
Dash is in fair shape, rubber mats okay and metal floors are in
great shape. Seats could prob use some cleaning as rest of the truck
could too. Tucson can be a little dusty and it gets all the small areas.
Rear seat is a 70/30 Split fold down, in nice shape too, with lots of
room behind it and a factory rubber mat. Windows and doors all seem
to work okay.
EXTERIOR:the body pretty straight for its age, but this is a 90%
rust FREE survivor. Az has baked the single stage what looks to
be factory paint and its dry too. It may be able to be wet sanded
and buffed out. Some trim on the pass side is missing off the door
and the same tailgate trim is coming loose.
Rust or rot I should say is almost non existent on the body.
Much nicer by comparison to a truck this old from the eastcoast.
I believe the tan paint on the truck is the original. No signs
of rot holes on the original body and rockers.
Headlights are HELLA H4 conversions to better see at nite.
SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can see
Looks stock and original but it could have a small lift on it.
Nothing stands out, but maybe the springs we re-arched at one
time ? Seeing the 33s clear, and overall, the truck sits pretty
high from what I recall them being like in 84. No weird noises and
actually rides decent.
Minimal rust under the car, making taking this car apart, almost a breeze !!
Check out ALL the pics below ----->
it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.
more infoAFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics.
Email us with ANY questions before you bid please
Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car
they are selling, what are they hiding ?
maybe their car is not the best car to buy long distance.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. We go all over and under
our vehicles, better then most sellers, to provide
great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.
