Up for sale is a 1948 Chevy truck fresh from the barn, this truck has great patina, lots of character, it's got bumps, lumps, crust, rust, all applied by mother nature just the way they like it. The cab has been sealed up on the inside to keep all the patina on the outside, cab corners have been sealed with metal and the floor has been patched up in the past and are solid. The truck has all new tinted glass and window rubbers, door seals and door glass channel.
This 48 is all modern underneath its riding on a 2001 Chevy S10 frame and suspension that has been cleaned and painted, new brake lines (rubber and steel), brake calipers, pads, rotors, master cylinder and power brake booster. New shocks all way around, front drop spindles. Power steering.
New Cooper Cobra tires 255/60/15 on the rear and 235/60/15 up front, new steel wheels 15x8 rear and 15x7 up front with baby moon caps.
The motor is a fresh built 327 with a steel crank, TRW forged 10.1 flat top pistons, World Product S/R heads with stainless steel valves 2.02 intake and 1.60 exhaust, screw in studs and guild plates, mild hydraulic cam, Melling oil pump, Edelbrock performer intake, Edlebrock 650 carburetor, HEI distributor, one wire chrome alternator, GM power steering pump, high torque mini starter.
New Turbo 350 TCI Street rodder transmission and torque convertor, topped off with a Lokar shifter.
New aluminum radiator and electric fan.Hedman headers with dual exhaust, welded mufflers, has a nice classic muscle car sound.
New 16 gallon fuel tank from "Tanks" relocated under the bed with a Edelbrock electric fuel pump and new fuel line.
The interior upholstery is new, seats, door panels, headliner, carpet. The original speedometer and fuel gauge are in working order and new aftermarket oil pressure, water temp, and volt gauge has been added. Has a new hot rod heater and defroster works great.
New complete wiring harness, headlights, park lights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals all work. The original vacuum wiper motor and hardware are still in place but not hooked up.
