Beautiful 60's custom 1956 Chevrolet 210 hardtop up for auction.
This is a rare chance to own a Custom Chevy that was built in the late 60s early 70s.
The car was purchased in 2011 from Stevenson Washington and brought to Alberta Canada.It then went under a slow restoration process as it was also driven while being restored.

As you see the car now in the pictures is how it was modified before the restoration.All the original mods have been left on the car but have been refined and made to fit better and have smooth lines and gaps.The paint was stripped to the metal and all the sheet metal was smoothed and refinished.Painted a beautiful turquoise that is showing only minor wear from driving( A few rock chips)All the sheet metal other than the floor and bits of the rear trunk floor are original metal that has not been replaced.The spare wheel tub and rear tail pan were replaced with original metal from a donor car as well so its not aftermarket but original replacement metal.The main floor was replaced with a 1 piece floor pan with all new floor supports and braces built in.No patching done what so ever. The front fender are also original and have not been caped at the eyebrows, all original metal.Quarter panels are original with only a small patch repair being done to the drivers side in front of the wheel well.
This car was loved and driven every where. So keep in mind as beautiful as the car is it has been driven so its not flawless. It has been well maintained and stored indoors.
The rear quarters have been modified under the quarter glass and were tastefully done, not crude at all very nice accent to the side dip in the quarter. The hood and trunk lid have been smoothed and all chrome has been removed giving it that custom touch. The side door handles have been smoothed and are remotely opened with a key fob. Car has been accented with very nicely done pinstriping that can be seen on the rear trunk, front hood, side quarters and tops of the fenders as well as on the dash.Front and rear bumpers have been rechromed and rear bumper has been modified and smoothed to have the license plate moved to the bumper. All the chrome side trim is original, rear taillight housing have fine pits but are shiny and look great.
Interior is the custom white interior that was original done in the early 70s. Showing a bit of wear but is still in good driver condition.Radio is a stock appearing but is Bluetooth enabled and has a digital display that is revealed with the flick of the switch. Aftermarket Rain Gear wiper motor removed the cable driven system to gear driven wiper blades.All new tinted glass all around.
This Classic has been mechanically rebuilt front to rear and drives great, handles great and cruises through the mountains with ease. Cruises all day long comfortably at 70 mph.
Has a one piece seamless frame running factory style rear leaf springs and a 1996 8.5 blazer rear diff with a 3:42 posi center.7 inch Diaphragm brake booster with dual master cylinder, disc brakes with 2 inch drop spindles and Heidts upper tubular A arms and factory lower arms. All new bushings, front and rear sway bars, and poor mans power steering.Newer 15 inch white wall tires and 15x7 steel wheels.
Engine is a 6 inch rod Chevy 350 ci bored .060 over with Aluminum vortec heads and GM vortec 4bbl intake. 4bbl carb and a 4 core Allstar Aluminum Radiator keeps it cool.200R4 overdrive transmission.
Exact mileage is unknown.The car includes a few misc. accessory items that have yet to be installed.
I am helping sell the car for my friend of 10 yrs.He had a great time building it and driving it but must sell to move on to the next project.He is sad to let it go but its now time for it to go to a new owner who can make their own memories in this great car.
Car is located In Innisfail Alberta Canada.
Car has be registered, insured and past a mechanical inspection.Also includes a Washington State Title from the previous owner.
