Description

1977 Chevrolet Nova Rally one of 6,901 ever built according to Novaresource.com production numbers. RPO Z26 package, factory in dash tach, front and rear sway bars, tilt steering. I have the original build sheet, original window sticker from the dealership, owners manual. This is not your typical Nova. There are very few around of this vintage, certainly none this cool! I am including a thumb drive with the pictures documenting the restoration process from the day I bought it to present. As well as receipts from machine shop and important parts. You can’t build one for this price. 1. Now the goodies, 496 BBC stroker with Eagle specialties balanced rotating assembly. Mallory ignition box with built in adjustable rev limiter. Edelbrock air gap intake, Holley 850 dbl pumper with mechanical secondary carb. Runs on 91 octane pump gas, I occassionally add a bottle of octane booster. Tons of torque, fun to drive. 2. TH350 (the original to the car) rebuilt with TCI kit, kevlar clutchs, 2200 Hughes stall converter. 3. Complete Polyurethane body and suspension mount kit, trans mounts, bolted and welded in subframe connectors. 4. Four core radiator w/trans cooler, and 2 electric fans. Cooling system holds almost 5 gallons and an overflow can, no worries about overheating. 5. Drive shaft loop, 3.42 posi rear end. 6. Lizard skin truck bed liner from firewall to taillight inside. Sound deadener in doors, roof, floor. 7. Alpine and Infinity sound system, trunk mounted amp. 8. New front coil and rear leaf springs. Competition Engineering traction bars, adjustable pinion snubber. 9. The color is Majestic Red Metallic, from a 02 trailblazer. There is No Rust on the car. This is a true Nova Rally. Have the original build sheet, and original window sticker. I am the 3rd owner and have had since 2002. I have hundreds of pics as it went through the restoration as well as videos of it running at idle available upon request. As well as a video at the 1/8 mile drag strip taken on an IPhone where it ran a 7.47. It had different gears then. It has plenty of insulation so very little road noise. We drove it to a 4th of July car show and took 2nd place of over 165 cars. I am also including the trophy, I believe it should stay with the car, after the show, we drove it home. It has plenty of power, but not an uncontrollable mess. The factory in dash tach does not work. Please ask any questions you have, I built it and know it inside and out.
