1957 Chevy 3100, Rat-Rod, Apache
Description
What we have here is a 1957 Chevy 3100. It has a rebuilt 302 H.O and a fully rebuilt Saginaw 4-speed transmission. It also has a new Champion Cooling radiator, Mallory distributor with Taylor wiring, GPS Speedometer, Edelbrock Carb, headers, and Dynomax exhaust, bucket seats, and a custom shift knob (made from a real grenade). All lights and signals work perfectly and I have all original keys (door, ignition, glovebox). I also was able to receive the original owners manual for the truck as well. The previous owner was really big into Harley Davidson's and decided to paint a distressed Harley Davidson logo on each door to add to the rat rod appearance. Many people ask me if this was originally a truck that advertised for Harley. It definitely adds to the trucks character. It has manual steering and brakes as well as a working heater. This truck is definitely a daily driver and runs very strong. I personally drove it to and from work (about 12 miles each way) for about a month due to my wife working. Now I just take it out for joy rides around the city. It definitely receives a lot of looks as I'm driving it down the street. Now we are trying to save up a hefty down-payment for a house of our own and figured selling this gem would help. I hate to see it go, but a house is a little more important. Thanks for checking it out and I look forward to hearing from you.
