1981 Camaro Z28 Super Low Miles Great Condition
Description
Very good condition, looks like original paint with no body work detected except on drivers door, which was minimal (as determined by a recent car inspector with electronic paint/bondo sensor). Car had one owner from 1981 until 2016, and we're 2nd owner since then. We have many original papers, including registration, build sheet, owners manual, brochures, etc., from when car was purchased new. Runs and drives great. Steers straight including when braking. Paint is in very condition, seemingly original except possible repair and repaint on drivers door, and possibly bumper covers. Paint description was provided by recent local auto inspector with electronic paint/Bondo sensor. Car has minimal scratches and small dents, especially considering age. Has new starter, battery, and 4 BBL Carb (with guarantee). Recently repaired small AC leak has it blowing ice cold. Engine is stock, including smog control equipment. 5 digit odometer makes it impossible to know exact miles 100%, but excellent condition (including paint and interior), original shocks with smooth ride, key and ignition condition, pedals, and recent discovery by Discount Tire that these tires were dated 1989, leads us to believe 31,000 original miles. A recent local car inspector felt the same: miles are 31,000.Power windows, Cruise control, Air Injection System, Tilt wheel, 308 Rear Axle, AM/FM Cassette.
Car has been described to the best of seller's ability. There may be other issues that affect the value, either positively or negatively, that are not known to seller. Ask questions you have, and seller will allow a local car inspector of buyers choice and expense, access to inspect the car.
Issues known to seller: Very small amount of rust at bottom of rear window corners (see pic). There is a blemish that was repaired on rear bumper (see pic). Minor body repair and repaint on drivers door (not visible in pictures) that was discovered by recent local car inspector. Sheet metal panel under trunk has rust that was painted to stop rust, but has not been repaired. Rust on sheet metal cannot be seen unless you are under car, and is not structural or consequential. Previous owner replaced water pump and painted the pump and front of block light blue, as may been seen in pics. Small tear on the left side of driver seat. Fuel gauge works but is slightly inaccurate.
