Description
Up for auction is this awesome beautiful Butternut Yellow 1968 Camaro Convertible RS Rally Sport. It has been garage kept most of its life. Originally from California then came to British Columbia in about the 80's then it spent some of its life in Alberta. In 1969 the cowl hood was ordered and installed from the local dealership and has stayed with the car ever since. The paint and body work were done in the 90's. When it was done new rear quarter panels were installed as there was some rust on the lips. The paint is still in excellent shape and has great shine as you can see in the pictures. There's the odd small chip but overall a 9 out of 10. The undercarriage appears to have no rust and looks very solid as you can also see in the pictures. There is a photo album showing the quarter panels being put on at the body shop etc.
For options it has buckets and console, Deluxe black interior, Deluxe seat belts, Air conditioning (was working but just stopped so it needs a recharge). It's converted already to 134A. This car comes with some extra parts, front spoiler in a box, rally wheel spare tire and some other misc stuff.
The interior has some wear but overall is very nice. the passenger door panel has a small repair on the arm rest area. The convertible top is very good with just a small rip in a common spot about 3/4 of an inch long.
This car has a rebuilt status on the title due to not getting the correct paperwork completed at the time of importing to come across the border. So it had to go through a complete inspection at the time changing the status to rebuilt. I ran a carproof report on it and it came up with no accidents ever to back up the claim. Also there are no liens on the car.
The car is located in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada. It is easily shipped anywhere in North America. We will assist with any boarder paperwork as needed.
Upon winning the auction a paypal deposit of $1000.00 is required. The balance can be paid with cash or a wire transfer. Also please feel free to come and look at the car in person.
Good luck and happy bidding!
