Description

Here for your consideration is an ALL ORIGINAL 1992 CAMARO Z28 HERITAGE EDITION.
This is a TRUE HERITAGE EDITION Z03 Option Z28!
THIS IS A GREAT CAR TO DRIVE AND ENJOY NOW - AND “RESTORE AS YOU GO” FOR FUTURE INVESTMENT!
This car is fully loaded with MANY RARE OPTIONS and is equipped with a 5.0 V8 with TPI Injection. Car has a 5 Speed Transmission with special
1st gear option, Oversized 4 Wheel Disc Brakes - Special Light Weight Aluminum Driveshaft Tube - lightweight Aluminum Spare
and other oddities that make THIS car a “Must Have” for Collectors and Investors.
THE REAL VALUE OF THIS CAR - AND ITS FUTURE INVESTMENT POTENTIAL IS - THE LONG LIST OF RARE OPTIONS ON THIS CAR - NOT IN THE CAR'S PRESENT CONDITION!
Please study the list of options shown below. You’ll see that the ONLY High Performance option that didn’t make it on the build sheet was the 1LE option. Aside from that, it has EVERY High Performance Option available that year. - including every option featured in the 1LE Option. You’ll see that this car has a TRULY UNUSUAL build sheet. This car was ordered by the Dealer and likely loaded with performance options to demonstrate the awesome power and features of the new z28 to new car buyers.
There are PLENTY of Camaros for Sale that are in Nicer, Shinier condition - but FEW have this list of options! This car is in decent shape considering its age - but the paint is weathered and the interior worn. The mechanical condition is decent - and this car is a ZERO RUST Western Car with GREAT POTENTIAL to become a VERY RARE, Highly Prized Heritage Edition Z28. In other words - Please look PAST the Faded Paint and Scruffy Interior and SEE the REAL VALUE of what you’re looking at. Truly a Diamond in the rough.
CONDITION: ZERO RUST CALIFORNIA CAR. This Car is all ORIGINAL - right down to the Original (albeit faded) paint and interior.
Engine runs good - no issues. I will supply a CA Smog Cert if car sells to a Calif. buyer. Car shows 172,000 miles on the odometer.
A/C works fine. We Installed a Brand NEW factory style exhaust system from front to back a few years ago which costs $700.
It’s complete with dual Catalytic Converters, mufflers, factory style stainless steel exhaust tips. I doubt if there’s 1,000 miles on the car
since with installed the muffler system. Tires are fine but not new. and brakes are fine. Car has the optional Factory Aluminum Rims
with red trim to match the red paint. New Radiator, A/C converted to 134a, New Serpentine Belt, 02 Sensor, VATS bypass, New
Computer, MAP Senor, MAF Sensor, Idle Air Control Sensor, Fuel Pressure Regulator, etc etc.
EXTERIOR: ZERO RUST CALIFORNIA CAR. Has Factory Red Paint. Still has a bit of shine - but has enough dents, dings, scratches
thin spots, and overall wear and tear to warrant a good quality repaint. Car has a variety of scrapes and scratches typical of a 24 year old car.
THE PAINT IS WORN & FADED in Areas - the important thing is that you can SEE what you’re working with. As evidenced in a few of the
photos - this car actually cleans up nicely, which gives you a glimpse of how NICE this car will look when finished. Although its weathered,
there’s nothing hidden under a ton of Bondo and a cheap Re-Paint. NO ACCIDENT COLLISION DAMAGE.
Car comes with a used, but nice replacement Front Lower bumper (cow catcher) valance trim to replace the cracked original. The small crinkle
dent on the edge of the hood and the front lower valance are the two main areas that are the bulk of the bodywork this car needs. NO RUST at ALL.
Dusty and cruddy underneath but NOT corroded like Snow State Cars. Car has a cracked windshield and a crispy, cracked dash panel
(easily replaced) from sitting out in the hot dry Summers we experience here in Central CA. We don't Rust 'em ... we Bake them! Door glass and
rear glass is okay - rear hatch pull down motor not working. (common problem). Power window motors both work. Passengers is a bit slow.
A/C blows cold air - but not ice cold. Heater works great.
INTERIOR: Car has the original Black Interior. Its in okay condition - but needs replaced if you want it to be perfect. Dash panel is cracked
which is typical for this year of Camaro. The original driver’s power seat was broken - so we replaced it with a power seat from another
car. The replacement seat is red. I was going to change the interior to red when I restored the car - so I didn’t care about the mis-match.
You can opt to change the seat - or re-dye the red trim to black later when you yourself restore the interior. Headliner has been replaced.
with a used original in Great Shape! No Sags!!! Sagging headliners are a very common annoying problem with these cars!
DRIVETRAIN: Original Matching Numbers 305 Engine (5.0 Litre) with TPI FUEL INJECTION (Tuned Port Injection) . This is an awesome
engine that everyone seems to covet these days. Engine is strong and runs dedent. The Transmission is the Original 5 Speed Manual
Transmission. It is equipped with a special Gearing designed for extra power. The Special 1st gear - plus the Special light weight Drive
Shaft Tube, Special Aluminum Light Wt. Spare, Plus Special Performance Springs and Oversized 4 Wheel Disc Brakes were all
VERY UNUSUAL Options that are RARELY seen in most Camaros of that year.
I have tried to be forthright and as detailed as possible to enable you to see the true condition of this vehicle. I don't like complaints and I'm
sure you don't like surprises. I WISH it were in perfect condition - but it “Is what it is” If it were perfect, the price would be much higher.
In this case - this car makes a great opportunity for a wider range of people to afford and acquire a Very Rare, Z28 - rough enough to make
it cheap - but Loaded enough to make it a FAR BETTER car to restore rather than the more common average cars that are out there.
The value of these particular years seems to have ‘bottomed out” a few years back and selling prices have begun to soar!
See the NADA Guide for current value. I have priced the car WAY below what I feel it is worth. I have factored in all imperfections and
wear into my price. It is what it is. The pictures speak for themselves. Its not a show car but its also not priced like a show car either.
NADA Guides show this car’s value from $8200 to $18,000 depending on condition. This one can be yours for a SMALL FRACTION
of those prices. Also note - NADA Guides shows value estimates for the BASIC car - and does NOT take into account all of the RARE and many options
that are found on this particular car.
ASKING PRICE ON THIS CAR! Please don't be afraid to bid on this car. My Reserve price is set VERY LOW considering the long list of Rare
Options equipped on this car. This car will be a good deal for someone! Please don't ask for the Reserve price ... If I give it out, what's the
point of having an auction in the first place? I also reserve the right to end this auction early as I have this car for sale in other venues.
I prefer payment via Cash in Person - or you can Wire the money into my Bank Account. No Checks or Scam stuff that is rampant these days.
Car is sold AS-IS with no warranty expressed or implied. Please exercise your Due Diligence and make sure that this car is what you are
looking for.
THIS CAR IS TRULY VERY LOADED and VERY RARE. See the list below.
