Description

I've decided to part with this 1972 Blazer. It was going to be a frame off resto mod truck. I have too many trucks and need to be realistic and sell a few. This one is a factory two wheel drive. Less than 4,000 of these were built in 1972 making it a fairly rare truck. It has been off the road for over half of it's life during which time it has been stored indoors since at least the late 1990's. Its been outside for a little over a week is all. It started life as a flower deliver vehicle in Billings, Montana. All vin numbers match on the frame, original drivers door, vin tag and title. The SPID sticker is gone from the glove box. Someone had it chromed at one point. As far as options, it has power steering, power brakes, looks to have been a v8 truck, it had a 3 speed manual on the column, sport mirrors, gauge package, AM radio, rear seat, single wall top.The body is in great shape for one of these. The guy I bought it from started fixing the rust in the front floors back in the late 1990's. The work he did to it was first class. He owns a metal fab hot rod shop in town and is known for high end builds. The new front floor chunks are all fitted and need to be welded in and completed. The drivers side is mostly done and ready for finish work. The rocker boxes and tub supports are all original and never rusted. The rear cargo floor is in basically mint condition, no rust anywhere front to back. There was a little rust in front of the rear wheels up against the rear of the rockers where they like to rust in the hidden pocket. besides that the quarters are in fabulous shape. The original doors are included with the Blazer, they have a little rust in the lower pockets, in my opinion not enough to warrant different doors but thats up to the builder. The doors on the Blazer are also included and are rust free and nice. The original doors still have all the guts in them. There is no rust to be found in the windshield frame, cowl panel, dash, or firewall areas. All rock solid. The radio hole is not cute out.The top is in very good shape, it's the single wall version. I just finished inspecting it, there are no chunks broken on it, no cracks and damage of any kind inside or out. Of course it will need a repaint to be nice. The hatch has a few cracks here and there but is definitely fixable. Its way better than most. All glass in the Blazer is good. The front clip, engine and trans are missing. Driveshaft is there, all suspension and steering is in tact. it rolls nice and easy. Also the tailgate is gone. What you see is whats included and is just how It was back when I bought it. You can install whatever engine and trans combo you want and not have to worry about discarding a bunch of parts you don't want or need to begin with. The rear seat pictured is also included. The odometer shows 40,970. I imagine thats 140,970.There is no warranty on this truck, buyer is responsible for any and all shipping costs related. I have shipped many non running vehicles in my day. It's not an issue. I'm happy to work with your shipper and assist in loading it. ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING!! I'm happy to answer any questions or take as many pictures as you'd like, just do it before bidding. non paying bidders will be left negative feedback. If you'd like to make an offer and purchase the vehicle before the auction ends thats ok with me. It will be for sale locally as well. The opportunity to own one of these doesn't come up very often, not as a project anyway. There is no reserve on this truck so bid to own!!Thanks for looking

I thought I better ad this little mistake I made.So after looking a little closer, the Blazer appears to have had a 4 speed originally. It is the high hump version and the original hump has the hole where the transmission shifter would have came through.also, the steering column in it is an automatic column, not a 3 speed column.Sorry for the mixup.
