1965 Chevelle Malibu "Barn Find" SS clone NO RESERVE

Description

Malibu convertible that was "Cloned" from a REAL SS donor car over 40 years ago. Car was disassembled & stored indoors for the last 27 years.I have just about everything to put this car back together.Needs front floor pan (typical of convertibles) & inner rocker work. Floor from rear seat to trunk area is solid.Trunk area is solid with only 2 very small spots behind each wheel well thats easily repairable. Frame is solid. Short block(283) trans(P/G) & driveshaft still in car. Engine is a correct casting (64-66) that was rebuilt at some point(.030) pistons,that could probably be cleaned up and reassembled.Cylinder heads appear to have been rebuilt also. Have left & right full quarter panels that were cut intact from a Arizona car 27 years ago.Driver side is repairable on car,passenger side needs to be replaced. Front fenders are a matching set that were taken off of a real 65 SS 396 race car about 40 years ago.(396 badging is legible) Doors are solid with no rust,but have some minor repair on one corner. Dash cluster is a real SS unit with optional tach,instead of clock. Rare factory tilt column.Power steering & brake car. Front grille is a NOS unit in the box with some NOS & repro trim pieces.Power top is complete with frame & hydraulics,but top needs to be replaced.Hood & trunk are also rust free.Complete new dual exhaust system.Everything in pictures goes with car. Vehicle was running & driving before being taken apart for a restoration that never happened in 1989. Origional color is Danube Blue with medium blue interior with a white top. NY transferable registration that was transferred in writing to the previous owner,but never registered or titled to him. Vehicle is being sold "AS IS". No warranty.
