I bought this no rust Florida car with the purpose of making a low dollar fuel efficient big tire Pro Street
mission has been accomplished.
this FULLY TUBBED 1988 Chevy Monte Carlo only has 91k original miles (this Florida car has no rot)
a/c drier needs to be replaced & compressor installed for a/c (I have a good used one avail)power steering worksall light & gauges workpower windows & wipers work
Chevy 5.0 liter engine w/ Holley 4 barrel (no leaks)Chevy TH200 3 speed automatic transmission (slight leak)
narrowed Quick Performance Ford 9" housing (slight leak)
16 gallon fuel cell w/ 1/2" aluminum fuel line
2-1/2" exhaust
Weld Wheel Prostars w/ Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R radial tires (used less than 100 miles)rear wheel 15" x 12" w/ 31" tall x 16" tread width tirefront wheel 15" x 3.5" w/ 26" tall x 5.5" tread width tire
less than year old PPG pearl paint job
though it's tubbed, still have back seat
many new parts (body mount bushings, carpet, headliner, sunvisor, taillights, brakes, battery, etc)
it is currently licensed & insured
