1975 chevrolet blazer
Description
1975 K5 Cheyenne Blazer. Full Convertible, Hardtop and Softop included. 350, PS, PB, AC, Auto, 4WD. This blazer is in excellent condition and drives very well. Cold AC, everything works except the clock, updated stereo which uses factory dash holes - so no dash cutting.
There appears to have been one exterior repaint and the factory paint is still visible in the jambs and under the hood. Factory chalk marks are still visible in the engine compartment. Brakes, suspension, steering are all very tight. Previous owner maintained this truck very well, with recent parts replacement visible all around the truck including suspension components, alternator, belts, hoses, etc. The exhaust is original and it has an exhaust leak somewhere which you can hear when the truck is running.
This Blazer is an excellent driver which you can use daily, and shine up for cruise nights as well. Very straight body with no bondo. Floors, rockers, and underside are clean and dry. Only rust is lower drivers fender, and around lower passenger door seal - pictured and can be easily addressed. Paint has some chipping but metal is very straight, no dings / dents. This truck appears to have been loved since day 1. The overall condition of the body and frame is what drew me to buy this Blazer.
Interior is very nice. Front seats have been recovered and the rear upholstery appears original. Original carpet in great shape. One crack in the center of the dash pad. Transmission shift indicator has slipped down and not visible. Overall a great original feel inside.
Please feel free to call me to discuss the truck further. John at (Five one two) 748 5677. I want the next owner to be 100% happy with the purchase. I did not get the chance to meet the previous owner so I do not have the service history.
Based on my experience with the truck, I believe it was recently gone through in terms of wear items - there are new parts everywhere, and the truck drives great. The transmission and transfer case look very clean as if they may have been recently removed / rebuilt. I can't verify this. The engine runs strong, but does emit exhaust leak type sound when running. I haven't dug into it yet. It runs cool even with the AC at full blast. I don't believe the engine has recently been rebuilt, I would guess it's the original block and can check for numbers if needed. If this truck is used as a weekend driver, I think there are many years of service remaining in the motor. Soft top is included. I've never taken the hardtop off to cannot speak to it's functionality. Car cover included as well.
Clean Texas title in had. Truck has passed inspection within the last month.
