1970 CHEVROLET C20 K20 C10 4x4 FRAME OFF RESTORATION
Description
1970 Chevrolet C20 factory 4x4 with 47,918 original miles. Truck was owned by the state of MI and spent its whole life on a Beaver Island as A fire truck. No salt on Island never driven in winter. I have original bill sale and other documentation. I restored the truck over past 10 years. Every nut and bolt frame off restoration. Only have driven truck 750 miles since finished in July 2016 never in rain frame and under body as nice as nice as top. I have lots pictures through out whole restoration. I built the truck to drive and pull. Has a new 454 GM crate motor with upgraded comp cam, ported oval port heads, factory GM cast iron high rise intake manifold, high flow cast iron vortec exhaust manifolds, 9-7-1 compression runs good on premium fuel. About 425hp. Serpentine Belt conversion. Edlebrock 800 carb with electric choke. New 4 core radiator with dual electric cooling fans. New vacuum brake cylinder for disc brakes. SM465 4 speed trans with hydraulic converted center force dual friction clutch and 205 transfer case where both rebuilt during restoration. Has full floating 14 bolt rear end with detroit locker 4.10 ratio all new. Front end is 1 ton dana 60 with factory posi unit and disc brakes. I added front sway bar for better driving on street. New power steering gear box was reinforced for less flex. All stainless 3" mandrel bent exhaust with flow master mufflers. Aftermarket 16x8 steel wheels with 285/75-16 BFG all terrain tires. Complete new painless wiring harness (whole truck) with fuse box. Custom built 20 gallon polished aluminum fuel tank mounted in bed. Edlebrock quit flow fuel pump with all AN braided fuel line. All marker and head lights where replaced with factory looking LED lights from LMC truck. Oak bed with all polished stainless fasteners. Interior has bucket seats built for truck that have center consul that folds down to make into bench seat. Resto sound radio with built in USB and blue tooth with 4 speakers 2 under dash 2 in kick panels. All glass was replaced including sliding rear window. I didit tilt steering column. Sound deadening mat installed in floor and all cab. I am probably missing some things but I believe this truck is one of the nicest trucks in country. It also drives that nice and is built with the strongest drive train that ever came from factory and is as tough as it looks. I had a appraisal done by Classic Auto Appraisals for insurance came in at 48,780 dollars. I have a lot more money in this truck then that but I started new project and this one must go. Please do not bid if you do not have money and I do not need help selling this truck. I can help with shipping in USA.
