1981 Camaro Z 28
Description
BUY IT AND DRIVE IT. ROAD READY AND SET TO GO. Tried to load in a video of the engine running. This site says I can,t do it because I don't know how to format it/ Oh well I tried. If you send me a good email contact I can try sending it to you direct. Remember that the car hasn't really been used much and I get tired easy so it isn't dusted every Sunday. Just put this backon the road 6/2/16. Have owned since 12/2000. Crate engine 350 vortec has 3,000 miles on it. Trans is 350 turbo. Brakes and brake booster all recently replaced. Has Champion four core aluminum radiator rated for 900 hp. 600 cfm Edlebrock Carb. with Edlebrock aluminum intake manifoldand Hooker wrapped headers. Ignition works from key and pushbutton. ( my own anti theft system)New tires have less than 500 miles on them. A/C components in trunk. I took them off due to horsepower considerations. New windshield. All lights work properly. Wipers work. CD player used once. Will need new speakers. Current ones sound screechy. Interior LMC black aftermarket. Rear end is the factory LSD. Over all body is good.A few dings here and there but that is to be expected from a 35 year old car.No rust in floor boards but I did just find very minorrust on the right rear bottom of quarter panel.Perfect car for an easy restoration. If you want a fun driver, this is it. Forced to sell as I live on retirement funds and it will take me a while to get the money to replace the transmission on my daily driver. I don't want to drive this car into the ground and I won't use it to haul a critter to the vets.Car is located outside Baton Rouge, La. about 30 mins. And don't be afraid to make a decent offer.
Added info. Car was built on the last day of production April 1981. California car Gold water based paint. I repainted it with Gold enamel as I was mistakenly informed that was the proper paint.
