1966 Chevrolet Nova Chevy II
Cruisin Classics is proud to introduce just that...a cruisin' classic. The Chevy II has been completely restored with attention to detail.. Almost every part of this car is NEW. The car has only 1000 miles on it since restoration. The odometer was reset to 000000 miles to reflect the newness of the restore.
This is a one of a kind 2 door sedan with many appointments added that were not originally offered in a 2 door post car.
The intent of this restoration was to create and "Old School" type Hot Rod with high quality components that would turn heads, be "Show Quality" and a flippin' blast to drive.

There are many details about this car so here is the beginning.
Chassis:
All new hardware including springs brakes and suspension components. (stock design). Frame tied with welded construction.Competition engineering adjustable shocks.
Cal-Trak traction bars with rod ends
10 bolt Posi traction with 3:08 gears (very freeway friendly, but with lotsa' power)
Weld wheels with BF Goodrich Drag Street Radials
Body:
New Floor pans, trunk pans, quarters, and rockers. If there was any question with a body part, it was replaced with NEW.
The entire floor and trunk area was treated with
POR-1S rust preventative inside and out prior to painting and undercoating.
Dyna Mat sound deadening installed prior to assembly.
Hinged fiberglass hood with a 4" cowl
Perfect chrome, emblems and moldings
Professionally painted with show quality two-tone paint and striping including the engine bay
Tinted windows
Chrome wheel well moldings
Power Train:
Approximately 1000 miles on a professionally rebuilt motor, transmission and rear end.
350 CID with a 4 bolt main.
Polished steel crank.
Pink Rods with 10.5 to 1 pistons
Old Style Corvette closed chamber "Double Hump" Heads w/2.02 intake valves
High volume oil pump
Crane Street Performer Cam
Double roller timing chain
Edelbrock aluminum intake with Holley 750 carburetor and a Holley, chrome high volume fuel pump
Hooker Super competition Headers w/ Jet Hot ceramic coating mated to a Hedman pipe
Borla stainless steel mufflers
All fuel lines and transmission cooling lines are routed with Aeroquip Stainless braided lines and fittings
TCI transmission cooler
Griffin Aluminum Radiator
Optima Battery pushing a Tilton High Torque starter
MSD ignition, coil and wires
Chrome alternator, water pump and covers through-out the engine compartment
All new wiring harness
The transmission is a GM turbo 350 with a shift kit that has been professionally rebuilt using heavy-duty clutch plates and bands. It is mated to a B&M "Super Holeshot" torque converter and a custom built drive shaft with heavy-duty U joints.
The rear end has been completely rebuilt with new bearings, seals and an Auburn positraction with 3:08 gears.
Interior:
All interior components were restored with all new parts including,...
foam seat pads, headliner, dash pad, inner door skins with SS upper and lower trim, carpet, jute padding and sound deadening Dyna Mat.
Painted interior matches the exterior paint scheme.
The Grant steering wheel is matched with a GM tilt steering column (did not come originally)
55 Bucket seats with the custom console painted to match car with built in gauges.
The tachometer is built into the dash where the original clock would have been.
The stereo is a Kenwood 100 watt tuner/cassette with 4 Kenwood speakers.
Radio antenna is hidden in the dash.
