Description

1969 Corvette 427 4 speed Convertible

Looks and sounds Awesome and a real head turner.

The Vette was stripped to bare fiberglass and repainted its Originalcolor of Fathom green about 15yrs/4k miles ago.Bumpers were re-chromedand a new top was installed along with new upholstery.

This beauty was originally equipped with the 427/390 hp engine

That engine had a very short life and was dealer replaced back in the

the early 70s with the period correct 68 427/400 hp Corvette engine.

The transmission is original and still shifts well...

The original Carburetor was rebuilt last year and works perfectly.

Things it needs:

New tires..I prefer white letter but it came with redline tires.

new ownercan make that call(price reflects that)

Vent knob(can’t seem to find an original one anywhere)

Original radio doesn’t work(I use Bluetooth so I don’t care)

Leaks a little bit of oil.....I’ve never owned one that didn’t

Small exhaust leak coming from the exhaust manifold-passenger side.

The undercarriage is solid and has really never been touched so it looksjust like what you think a 50 yr old undercarriage would look like after spendingmost of its life sitting in a garage..Other then surface rust and being dirty itis totally solid..

Working under a Vette without a lift is a nightmare so I don’t really have any pictures The only pictures I do have were from when I replaced the sending unit.As you can see I did clean up that area of the undercarriage.

This is a beautiful driver quality car with a ton of curb appeal that is only goingup in value.
