Description
Hello there, this baby was owned by an elderly man. This car was babied. 454 4 speed, with posi-traction. These were the beast in 1974. Really hard to keep them on the highway. I am selling a 1974 Chevrolet Super Sport El Camino. This car body is all original, with 71,000 or so miles on the #s Matching complete drive train. I saved this car one day, from a rotting carport. Sorry guys, its not another barn find. This car has its original, motor, transmission and rear end. Factory code 19 paint, Black on black, with White swivel bucket seats. Needs front floor pans, few blisters in back of wheel wells, but not rot. Has a rusty panel right past driver door, in bed area. Simple fix. This car has power steering, power brakes, factory a/c.
I brought this car home, pulled the distributor, primed the oil system, put on a new carburetor, battery, starter, and fuel pump. new plugs, and it started right up, with gas of course.
It was running for about 1 minute and it broke a piston skirt, and shoved it thru the oil pan. i shit it down and that's where its at now.
Good luck on the auction, as it will be fun to bid. Happy Days, to Everyone, and every color, We are all HUMAN !!! GOOD DAY
