1978 was the 25th anniversary of Corvette. To celebrate a completely re-designed body was rolled out with new "fastback" styling. The new wrap-around rear window provided much more space behind the seats but was not a hatchback. Access to the storage space is still accessed from behind the seats. All Corvettes this year came with special 25th anniversary badging. A special "Anniversary Edition" included a unique Charcoal Silver/Silver Metallic two-tone paint job for an extra $399. We are pleased to... offer this 1978 Chevrolet Corvette T-top for purchase. 1978 was the 25th Anniversary of the already legendary Corvette. All 78's featured silver anniversary emblems on the nose and fuel door. A new fastback rear window was the most dramatic and noticeable styling change. The fixed-glass fastback improved aerodynamics, usable luggage space, and visibility. As suggested by Bill Mitchell, it was the first 2-toned Corvette since 1961. The Corvette rides on newer tires on 15 inch aluminum wheels. Other features include AM/FM radio, power windows, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, new alternator, rear cargo shade, tilt wheel, power antenna and more. The car runs and drives well. The paint shows well with a few small blemishes here and there. The interior is in good condition for its age. To see over 80 photos of this car, including undercarriage please visit our website br/-
