RARE IROC Z CONVERTIBLE WITH FACTORY APPROVED (AFC) MODS
Description
Your Chance to own an extremely rare 1986 IROC Z28 Roadster that was factory modified and approved by GM to convert it to a 2 seat roadster with a unique rear lift configuration to hold and hide the 1 piece convertible top. About 200 cars a year were taken off the factory floor and sent to the Airoform Corporation for modifications to a roadster and sent to the top 200 dealerships in the nation. There is some information online if you want to check. This car is listed in the Roadster National Registry for 2006 with only 3 vehicles still running from that year group. This is the lowest mileage car for that year group. They were only 600 total made from 1984 to 1986 before GM starting producing a convertible factory car in 1987 with a back seat and convertible top. This car is AFC6-0541 which is number 541 of 600 cars. It also has the original speedometer which shows max speed at 85 MPH. Later GM upgraded it to 120 MPH after receiving complaints. I am including some photo's now and will add more showing the engine, etc. This car is sold as is and there are no explicit guarantee's in any representation. This is a numbers matching original condition car that took first place in the stock division for C3 cars at the yearly East Coast Camaro National show. This is the car Camaro people have heard about but have never seen. At every show I have multiple conversations during the day about this car. It has some minor flaws due to age but overall shows very well as a stock car with no modifications except new tires. This is your chance to own a rare car that shows well at car shows. This rarity of this car guarantee's it's continued value increase over time.
