Description

Very nice running and driving 55 chevy Belair . The car is not perfect but there’s very little to no rust. The motor is a fresh 350 chevy 4 bolt main with a mild cam . Edlebrock intake with a 650 Holley carb. It runs and drives beautifully. It doesn’t skip a beat. Stop and go traffic is not a problem . The 4 speed saginaw transmission shifts smooth. The car has disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear. Stops great. The rear is a 8.5”. 10 bolt posi unit and I believe they are 3: 73 gears. The rear is lowered with lowered leaf springs and has traction bars . Rides with no rattles. I drive this car all over on fairweather days this car is beautiful . It’s not a show car by any means. The paint is fair. Has an amateur paint job. The trim/ moulding is beautiful but has a patina to it as its all original pieces that either came on the car when I bought it or collected over time from swapmeets and stuff. The windshield is brand new and most of the seals on the car are new as well. It’s truely a no BS driver. Super solid super clean and doesn’t need anything really. The only think I haven got around to doing is hooking up the horn and the windshield wipers. I don’t have the wipers. I do have a horn for it and all the heater parts as well. I have all the headliner bows and retainers. But it needs a headliner. The interior is clean. But could use some love. You could drive the car home or ship it . I am not responsible for shipping. That’s up to the buyer. Please call 215-356-4895 for any questions and I can send videos of the car running. And stuff as well. Thank you!
The car is registered in the state of Maine.( As I am also Resident there.) but it’s located in Woodbridge Va. Maine does not issue titles for antique autos they only require a bill of sale. The car is registered in my name.
