Up for sale we have an amazing 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. This car has undergone and immaculate frame off restoration and sports great upgrades along with a stunning appearance. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of this Chevrolet, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of this Bel Air. The body on this car is one of the best I've ever seen for a '57. You can tell that when the restoration was done they did an excellent job of lining up all of the panels to make sure it the body lines and gaps were as close to perfection as possible. It's also arrow straight which helps to show off this two-tone Base Coat Clear coat paint scheme. The India Ivory and Colonial Cream is a timeless color combination and it works great on this car. It has been buffed and polished to a mirror finish that's slick as a ribbon. All the Chrome and Stainless on this car is either new or in like new condition. The glass is equally impressive and has had new seals and weather stripping installed as well. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 18" and 20" Intro Wheels that do an excellent job of showing of the Z06 Corvette Calipers.
Next, we will look at the interior of this '57. On the inside it's done in the factory style Black and Gray color combination which provides a beautiful accent to the exterior. When you look it all the little details you can see that it is equally impressive with the exterior as everything is like it would have been new off the showroom floor. All of the seats covers, door panels, carpet, and headliner are excellent. Also, all the gauges are working along with the dome light and the of course the Vintage Air AC and Heat. Looking across the dash the stainless accents are like new and all the paint is as slick as the exterior. The radio has been upgraded to a digital knobbed unit and it has Kenwood Speakers in the back. In the trunk it has the factory style mat and you'll notice the battery has been relocated to keep the engine bay clean.
Speaking of the driveline, we will take a closer look at the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the hood you can see that it sports a killer look with a ton of upgrades. We will start with the engine which is a 350 Crate motor that was painted body color. It's set up with Aluminum Heads and a Polished Edelbrock Intake with a Holley Carb. This 350 is dressed in the Chevrolet Valve Covers and Breather. One of the first upgrades we will touch on PRC Radiator Support and Aluminum Radiator with dual Electric Fans to keep this 350 Cool. Another upgrade is the Vintage Air Front Runner kit that really pops under the hood. Also, you can't miss the Billet Hinges and Hood Bracing kit that really does a great job of pulling the entire look together. You can also see that the inner fenders and firewall have been cleaned and painted body color. To go along with the Air Condition this '57 also has Power Steering. The Brakes have are also Power and have been upgraded to Four Wheel Disc with Z06 Calipers on the corners. When you look under this Bel Air you can see that they did an excellent job with the Frame Off restoration. All the floors are detailed in the Red Oxide and all appear to be rock solid along with the frame. The 350 Engine runs to the 350 Turbo Trans and out to the 10 Bolt Posi Rear End with around a 3.55 Gear. This '57 has had a new Gas Tank installed along with New Fuel Lines and Brake Lines. Also, the controls arms have had new bushings installed along with the ball joints and end link bushings.
