Description

Attention classic truck builders. Looking for a neat wintertime project without breaking the bank? Barn found in the hills of Tennessee and off the road for many years is this very hard to find 1972 Chevrolet C10 Super Cheyenne pickup truck project, 76,548 actual miles, Tennessee truck it's entire life, Never up and down salty roads or subjected to salty climates, Elderly owned and driven, This truck belonged to a 80 year old gentleman who became ill after he had started removing the trim with the intention of having the truck repainted, That's when the truck was parked away and forgotten about for many years, Well maintained 350ci/4bbl engine and in all original condition under the hood, Automatic transmission, Dual exhaust, Options include Factory Air-conditioning, Powersteering, Powerdisc brakes, Tilt steering wheel, and the Super Cheyenne package (See service parts identification sticker pictured) The engine will crank and run when you pour gasoline into the carburetor but dies after it burns out, The fuel pump will need to be replaced as it has a faulty diaphragm which is common after sitting like this truck has and is not pumping any gas, When I found the truck the first thing I did was pull the oil dipstick to find the engine oil crystal clear, Body wise this truck is not bad, The worse area of rust is the passenger side outer rockerpanel and door bottom which can be repaired or replaced, Small amount on the driver's side rockerpanel, The floors and frame are solid (See undercarriage pictures, The bed on the driver's side is slighty pushed in at the rear and can be seen in the pictures, Original interior isn't perfect but still looks good to be 47 years old, Original carpet, Original cloth seat, Driver's side door panel needs to be reinstalled, All original glass is good, The dash and radio area has never been butchered, Rally wheels with brand new tires, Overall a neat father/son/daughter wintertime fixer upper to tinker with and enjoy as is or simply take it to another level?
