Description

I feel like I am putting my child up for sale here but I need to do this unfortunately for me, fortunately for you.

I will accept a 50% deposit and take the remainder in payments if it helps you out, however of course you do not get the possession or title of the car until paid in full. (within a reasonable amount of time, possible a few months if necessary) I will write up paperwork that states the terms and if it is defaulted on there will be no refunds. I cant get much more fair then that. I know it is hard to get the full amount of cash or loans for old used cars. I am not a dealer. This is my personal car.

The Good:

-Greenbrier, w/ 3rd seat - model 134460 - 8 cylinder - 1,798 produced.

-(the rarest production numbers for 1970), under 76,000 miles on odometer.

-Third row seat

-Rear defogger

-Ac, Power disc brakes

-Non-original:454 motor, 4 speed manual transmission, 3:50 BOP posi rear.

-Has full roller rockers, very very powerfull. Drivable.

-Aluminum radiator, HEI, headers

-Completely rebuilt fuel tank POR-15 seal kit.

The Bad:

-Motor just started some noise up through the carb. May need valve springs adjusted.

-Ac is compressor is not in the car

-Rear wheel cylinder leaks a little

-Factory rear defogger isn’t working, I didn’t track down why)

-Dash switch for tailgate window doesn’t work ( didn’t track down why)

-Drivers back door stuck shut ( didn’t track down why)

-I want to keep my rally wheels and tires so buyer would need to swap. or I can put some rollers on so it can be transported.

The Ugly:

-Headliner in back has tear so I clipped it in place to prevent it from flapping

-Old resto, so some rust bubbles shown in pictures on doors and tailgate

-Has real cowl hood that had flapper hole filled in.

-Tailgate backup lights were filled in.

-Frame has some rust and rear suspension is pretty sloppy

-Car is turn-key drivable, but would recommend going through the brakes, suspension bushings and adjusting the valve-train.

-I have had this wagon for a few years and have concluded that I need room in the garage to finish my other wagon project .

arguably, 1970 wagons are the most sought after of the chevelle wagons. The 3 seaters are the very most desirable. It is so fun to drive people around with them facing backward. It is also fun to drop the tailgate and sit in the rear seat with your feet up at tailgate parties. That's truly tailgating!
