Up for sale 1955 1st series pickup.His name is "Frankie " he has been put together with so many new and different parts on him that he got his name from Frankenstein .These trucks are getting harder and harder to find .There either fixed up and cost a lot of money,or they are in need of a lot of money,time,and work.He was yanked from a field with trees growing out of his be, brought in and sand blasted,floor pans replaced along with cab corners and riveted patch work .That is when I received the truck .Since then he had a laundry list of stuff done to him: $1000.00 of engine work which brought him back to life on 9/11/2018. Starting with full tune up and rebuilding of carburetor, new seals on exhaust manifold,new valve cover and inspection plat, gas tank cleane, new fuel pump and sending unit,starter rebuilt, generator rebuil, new battery. Then he got some primer put on and was painted, ALL glass and seals replaced,bucket seats installe, carpet installed,door panels and headliner installed,replaced speedometer gauge cluster and speedometer cabl, new pedals for gas and starte, glove box replaced,ash tray replaced,wiper arms,blades,and wiper control cable replace, wiper control box still needs to be lubed,4 new tires and rim, extra spare tire and cover, new master cylinder,some brake lines replaced,brake switch for rear tail lights, still needs brakes bleed better or drums adjusted,head light rings and Chevy head light visors, new oak wood in bed,along with bed rails, new cherry bomb muffler. There is still more parts and work to be done on Frankie. He has most of the parts for changing him to a 12 volt system which will be included with sale .Along with new clutch package. There are no taillights and wiring to gas tank still needs to be hooked up. All other gauges work. He has rust holes and patch work done about every where on him.
