ABOUT THE OWNER...
I have been into cars since I was 14 my first car was a 40 Chevy with a 283 paid the guy $800 and drove it home. I have had numerous cars since that time but never a Corvette, I wanted a single head light car as I always loved the old Corvette Gassers. I searched out a company that has had years of experience in building some of best driving resto-mod corvettes in the county... Corvette Correction in Seguin, Texas... Billy Dawson owner.
Corvette Corrections: They have built over a hundred of their proprietary designed chassis with front and rear independent C4/Corvette suspensions. The chassis was upgraded with heavy duty Dana rear posi-traction with 3:73 gears, carbon fiber front leaf and this chassis is total adjustable front and rear. This completely independent Corvette suspension is a vast handling improvement over the typical solid rear axle set up commonly used in this application, or some modification of the old stock frame.
The rolling chassis has BEAR 15 inch rotors (slotted and drilled) with 6 spot calipers at all four corners. Special One off made especially for this car ASANTI 2 piece one-off customer made wheels: with chrome barrel, chrome face and windows painted with matching cove silver metallic paint, rears are 19x10 and fronts are 18x8.5 (the wheels had to be made twice to get the exact stance and tire clearance to make the car sit and ride perfectly). The motor is a new GM CORVETTE LS7 (with fabricated cold air intake custom headers and 3" hand-formed stainless exhaust, the motor is approximately 565 horsepower). The custom headers took three tries to get them to fit perfectly, the oil tank was fabricated at Rick's (as was the gas tank where the filler is hidden under the top cover). MARCH supplied the chrome pulleys and pumps, everything under the hood is polished, painted or chrome and all wires and hoses have been routed out of site to give it that ultra clean look. The radiator is BE COOL with electric fans car runs very cool in Arizona in the summer at 110 with the air on. The transmission is a TREMEC 6 speed heavy duty 6060 with up graded HURST Shifter. The complete hydraulic dual disc clutch set up flywheel, clutch, pressure plate and blow proof housing is all MCLEODIndustries.
The body has numerous changes, shaved bumpers (front parking lights and turn signals relocated to inside the grill) and emblems late model Corvette door handles, the side coves were completely handmade modeling a 60 Corvette, widen rear quarters are 3.5 inches wider(per side) to accept the 19x10 wheels, rear license plate enclosure was Frenched-in. All new chrome moldings, windshield and surround moldings. The body was block sanded for months to give it that mirror finish that is seldom seen on fiberglass cars. The car is painted with PPG Black/Black and the Coves are PPG Metallic Silver. All chrome is new or completely refurbished (re-plated) and all stainless has been redone and highly polished.
The interior finds the dash supporting a full set of original 1957 CORVETTE gauges (Completely rebuilt by CLASSIC INSTRUMENTS). The car has hidden upgrade VINTAGE AIR and a full KICKER Stereo hidden within the car that works off of any Smartphone. The interior including the complete trunk was done byRON MAGNUS INTERIORS: The carpet is from Germany special order one off custom and the leather is special Italian import and the door panels have chrome moldings to match the cove modeling on side of the car. New custom made top frame and convertible top.
This is truly a ground up build with everything new, the car has 944 miles on it and is in absolutely in perfect condition, looking to cars that have sold at various auctions such as Barrett Jackson, the asking price is very much in line and could be considered a bargain based upon the time, engineering and money that went into this project.

STAGGER FITMENT 18/19" WHEELS & TIRES:One off custom made Asanti two-piece wheels with chrome barrels and face with painted windows to match the cove color (silver metallic)... Rears are 19x10 with P255-40ZR19 and Fronts are 18x18.5 withP225-40ZR18 Performance Tires.
BRAKES: 15" rotors drilled and slotted with six spot calipers at all four corners
BODY MODIFICATIONS: Front bumpers removed, parking lights and turn signals relocated to inside of the grill;to give it the 50s/60s old gasser look.
