This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible hits all the high notes: a powerful V8, four-speed manual transmission, and rumbling side exhaust that sound so sweet when enjoying droptop fun. This is a driver's machine, and so that means bucket seats, a large speedo & tach, a full gauge auxiliary panel, and a stick shift that begs for your right hand. Under the hood is a 350 cubic-inch V8 finished in Chevy's legendary orange. You can see it so well because of the tidy engine bay. More than just look nice, this mighty V8 has been upgraded with pieces like a HEI ignition an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. And as we mentioned before, you'll fall in love/lust with the sound this motor makes when singing through the side pipes. Best of all, you're in complete control of this high-horsepower symphony thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. Corvettes like these are one of the few classics that are terrific on any open road. After all, the power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and fully independent sports suspension makes this a superior vintage handler.
