Then came the wide assortment of interior and exterior color combinations to pick from.True to the order sheet, this car is dressed in Matador red paint but the restorer added white to the hardtop. The interior is finished as selected with red vinyl seats with black and red pattern cloth inserts. All of this shows beautifully. The stainless is highly polished. The chrome is show quality with deep reflections. Not to be out done the paintwork is excellent as are the body lines and gapping. Unlike most examples, this car retains its factory correct red oxide finish underneath. When showing this car, you will want to bring mirrors with you to highlight the detailed undercarriage.Getting to the show will be lots of fun too. The car runs great and turns heads everywhere. She sounds wonderful thanks to the dual exhaust with glasspack mufflers. Original style mufflers are included with the sale for those who prefer originality.Roughly 10% of ’57 Chevys are still on the road today, which is an impressive amount.
