Description

Interested in treating yourself or a loved one to a one of a kind Christmas present? 1st time ever offered here and very reluctant to sell is our true time capsule/1 family owned 1967 chevrolet camaro rallysport two door coupe, Rare red on red color combination with parchment vinyltop and white pin striping, Original red deluxe interior, Early built car assembled in Norwood Ohio and documented with it's original protecto-plate and other items pictured, Found stored away in a dry building since the 1980's and purchased from the estate of the original owner, I replaced the old dry rotted tires which were date coded 1970, The tire shop only had a set of black sidewall tires on hand although we wanted whitewall tires which is what it came new with as they match the white top/stripes and really make the car stand out (Easy swap or a set of rallywheels w/raised white letter tires would look good as well), The original owner had drilled holes in the trunklid as they were in the process of adding a rear spoiler which is included, Purchased brandnew on March 10th, 1967 from Ferman Motor Car Company in Tampa Florida before coming to Knoxville Tennessee where it has remained for most all of it's life, Non original 327ci/2bbl engine w/dual exhaust, 2 speed powerglide automatic transmission, Factory air conditioning all hooked up but does not blow cold, Powersteering, Bucketseats, Console w/floorshift, Working hideaway headlights and still retains both of it's original T3 headlights, Rear backup lights under the bumper work as well along with the horn and all interior lights, Original wheels/wheel covers w/brandnew tires, 1 repaint many years ago back to it's original color of Bolero red (Some nicks and scratches), Solid southern body with very little rust at the very bottoms of the front fender's as well as some slight bubbling under the vinyltop/on the panel between the back glass and the trunklid and some in the trunkpan, Very common for a unrestored 52 year old car all easily repairable or replaceable, Never up and down salty roads or subjected to salty climates, All of the critical areas such as the floorpans, rear framerails, rear shocktowers, rockerpanels, door bottoms, and front subframe are nice, Runs and drives but will need a good once over before driving for any long distance or on a daily basis, Driver's side door hinge needs new bushing's which I have, All original glass is good with no cracks, Some scratches in each door glass and a wiper mark on the windshield, Original interior ie..console, shifter, seats, seat belts, carpet, doorpanels, etc.. Very rare to find a original car like this that still retains most all of it's original components ie..interior parts, under hood components, body panels, etc. which is the way I prefer to find them, Overall a neat father/son/daughter wintertime toy to tinker with and drive as is? Restore back as original? Resto-mod? Racecar? Streetcar? Many possibilities with this one, I do have a personal delivery driver on standby for immediate delivery @ $1.00 a loaded mile that can have the car to you with the quickness if you choose to do it that way, Serious inquires only please, Feel free to contact Paul @ 901-219-9569 with any questions, If no answer please leave a detailed message and I will return your call as soon as possible, Bank wire transfer preferred for payment and/or cash as it is the quickest and safest method of payment for both the buyer and the seller, If you cannot follow our payment instructions please look elsewhere, Sold in as-is condition with a clean clear Tennessee title, Thanks again for looking and bidding.
Note: As stated above this is a unrestored original camaro and not a restored camaro therefore it has some bumps and bruises which are part of the history of this car. If you are looking for a perfect/$60K car with an award winning paint job this is not your car and on the other hand if you are looking for a cool original type car the way they were once found in the 70's/80's feel free to give me a call. Serious inquiries only please.
