If you're not a fan of over-the-top colors, the simple, no-nonsense look is downright fantastic. It was competed not too long ago and was never intended to be a show vehicle, although a professional cut and buff would really make it pop. The simplicity of these trucks is also their best styling feature, with no gimmicks or add-ons, but rather a chiseled, masculine shape that is undeniably American. The bed has been treated to a spray-in bedliner, which is both durable and practical, and it's neatly done with the tops of the bed also protected. The styling on these trucks is a slam-dunk, but a few skillful modifications including shaved mirrors, a color-coordinated grille, and a rear roll pan really make it stand out in a crowded field. If you could buy a Camaro with a bed, this might be what it would look like.Burgundy tweed is the covering of choice inside, where the original bench seat has been freshly reupholstered and remains firm and comfortable. The instrument panel has been painted to match the body and topped with a matching burgundy dash pad, and new door panels and carpets tie it all together very nicely. The C10 offered a fairly comprehensive array of gauges, all of which are fully functional, plus a tachometer strapped to the steering column. The Grant GT 3-spoke steering wheel is beautifully finished and really dresses the place up, and drilled aluminum pedals tie in with that muscle car theme I was talking about earlier. There is no radio, but that means you can install the system of your choice without having to deal with someone else's mistakes, which is often a blessing in disguise. The incredibly sanitary engine bay houses a great-running 327 cubic inch V8. It's built right, with a mild cam inside, an aluminum Weiand intake manifold with a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, and some Edelbrock dress-up gear, it's definitely got performance and looks. They used Chevy Orange paint on the block and satin black on the inner fenders, keeping the OEM look and feel throughout, although no factory truck ever looked this good under the hood. There's a ton of new components, ranging from the alternator to the master cylinder, and the way it runs means that someone spent the time to get it sorted out properly after it was done. A TH350 3-speed automatic transmission feeds a 12-bolt out back, and that ideal stance is compliments of a 2/4 drop. A cleverly designed dual exhaust system offers decent ground clearance and sounds awesome without being annoying on the highway, and you'll dig the bowtie exhaust tips. Few wheels look better on a C10 than chrome Torque Thrusts, which wear studly 235/75/15 front and 31x10.5-15 rear blackwall radials that totally stuff the wheel wells.This truck represents a very mild custom makeover of a straight truck.
