Description

The proper way to view at this 1956 Chevrolet 3100 is to look at the price, look over all the features, and then look at the price again because you won't believe it's true. Yes, you can get a fully-built inside and out supercharged custom classic pickup for under $30K!Just one glance and you can see a lot of work has gone into this pickup (we've got plenty of restorations receipts, too.) The mocha paint looks like it is the kind of earthy pastel that could have come from the 50s, but it has a metallic glow and luster of a professionally applied modern clearcoat. The investment in the bumpers, badges, bezels, handles and all other trim means they shine like new mirrors. There is even a bit of attitude added to this truck with forward-leaning stance on a shinier version of GM's iconic Rally wheel setup. But even with these refreshed and upgraded items, the truck doesn't lose its original personality. This model series was the beginning of the wraparound windshields, and it's known for the extra flair in the fenders (especially the rear). Plus, the side-mounted spare tire and real wood in the truck bed gives this a true vintage feeling. The two-tone tan interior does a great job of coordinating with the exterior color, and those with keen eyes will realize that the custom pinstriping on the outside actually matches the colors inside. Just as important, this full custom setup makes for a vastly more comfortable experience than what came out of the '50s. It starts with a set of comfy cloth buckets with a custom center console in between. You get a wood-rimmed Grant GT steering wheel mounted on a chrome tilt column, and just beyond that is a full set of Dakota Digital gauges that provide a cool blue glow right in the same space as the original speedometer. The dash is built to look like a cool original piece, but knob-style radio is actually an AM/FM/cassette stereo that's adaptable to more modern music players. There's even a sunroof in this pickup! But your favorite upgrades are just at your right hand. The Hurst dual "his & hers" shifter and boost gauge tells you there is something really special under the hood. The engine bay looks great with matching paint and a show-stopping shine, but it only takes one moment to realize that this pretty boy is really a beast. This is a performance-built 383 stroker motor topped with a supercharger. But the powerful upgrades don't just stop at the classic 471 blower. The full build includes 8:1 pistons, 5.7 rods, full floating wrist pins, hydraulic roller cam, roller rockers, screw-in value studs, push rod guide plates, double spring values, Edelbrock 750 CFM four-barrel carburetor, and plenty more (call for all the details.) It's a serious power motor that makes a seriously powerful rumble out of the header-fed dual exhaust. But more than just pure horsepower, take a moment to look at the total package. The TH400 three-speed automatic is plenty stout enough for this motor, and its 3000 RPM stall kit keeps you in the powerband longer. Add this to the 4.11 rear end, and you have the perfect recipe for power takeoffs. There's also great driving features like the independent front suspension, power steering, and front disc brakes. So yea, this brute is also a fine cruiser.Beautiful, powerful, capable, and loaded with creature comforts, we bet you can't believe how affordable this total package is. That's why we know this supercharged pickup will be leaving us soon. Call today!!!
