1951 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup finished in Teal Green with a Grey interior. a period correct 216c.i. 6-cylinder engine and backed by a proper 4-speed manual transmission. This truck features radials with steel wheels, chrome caps and rings, running boards, pine wood bed, chrome bumpers and grille, dual rearview mirrors, full instrumentation, rare factory heater, updated grey cloth upholstery, electric fuel pump (used to prime fuel system when cold), rebuilt engine and transmission, and a finished undercarriage... and engine compartment. The truck is believed to have been restored in the early 2000s. It is beautifully finished and showcases the classic 50's truck stylings collectors have loved for decades. Chevy was the number one truck seller by World War II and continued their dominance for many more years to come. After the war, Chevy was able to start creating civilian trucks again and did so by 1945. In 1947 they redesigned their classic with what was called an "Advance Design" truck that turned out to be a hit. More modern and created for the average driver, the "Advance Design" carried the number one spot in truck sales through the 1950s. Throughout the years, the design hadn't changed much with the 1951 receiving vent windows, but not much else. Chevy already had a successful design that was flourishing. Sometime through 1955, the "Advance Design" came to an end to make way for a new era in Chevy's truck lineup.
