1953 CHEVROLET 3100 STREET ROD, CUSTOM, HOT ROD, 1947,1948,1949,1950,1951,1952
Description
1953 Chevy Truck Custom Street Rod. TXB suffix -010 casting, 350 serpentine belt, Edelbrock intake and carburetor, Ram Horn exhaust, power brakes, disk front, drum rear on a GM 10-bolt rear end. Truck appears to be on a Camaro sub-frame. Grille appears to be original and unrestored. Front is new repo. Nice headlights, engine compartment is very clean, hood is very nice. Hood hinges are good, nice windshields. New weatherstripping, new mirrors and wipers. Windows roll up and down very nicely and all the glass is excellent. Very nice interior with heated custom bucket seats and console. Tilt column. Double Din stereo, Omega custom gauges. Underneath is very clean as far as rust goes, with no bad patchwork. Clearly a driver, very nice running boards and floors. Fenders appear to be very nice originals, nice bed with lined steel floor and nice tailgate. 15" wheels and tires. This truck is a very nice amateur restoration. It runs and drives excellent, starts nearly instantly. Has great power and doesn't smoke at all. Truck was painted with a Gilmore Gas theme and would be a great driver immediately. Would really look great with a set of Steelies!
