Description

This is a 1969 Chevy Stepside Truck.
It is the original drive train, V8 (307), 4 speed transmission. I have the original protecto plate, original owner's manual, the "pre-delivery" check off sheet, and the preferred customer identification card. This truck was purchased from Raines Chevrolet in San Jose, California.
Everybody knows how rust prone these trucks are, and more specifically, the location of rust usually found in these trucks. This truck is as close to rust free as I have ever found. The inner and outer rockers are dry and clean. The rain gutter trim is dry and clean. The cab corners are dry and clean, and the steps on the bed are dry and clean as well. Under the hood, and inside the fender wells are in great shape.
The bed, and tailgate, along with the bulkhead is in incredible condition. The wood inside the bed would need to be replaced, but all metal strips are there and in place.
The truck runs, and drives, but I wouldn't drive it for any significant mileage, as it hasn't been driven on a regular basis for several years. But it does make it easy to load up onto a trailer for transport.
This is a very nice truck for somebody who's looking to pick up a '69 stepside for a restoration project. Especially when you won't be thousands of dollars into panel and rust replacement.
I reserve the right to stop the auction as I do have the truck for sale locally as well.
I will work with a shipper at a designated meeting location within 30 miles from my residence.
The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping costs.
The winning bidder is required to place a $500.00 payment into my paypal account within 24 hours at the close of the auction. The balance of the payment will be either in cash, or by wire transfer directly to my bank account. I will not accept cashier's checks, or money orders. If the winning bidder wishes to use paypal to pay in full, then they will need to add 3% to the winning price.
