1959 Corvette - was factory 290hp Fuel Injection - I have owned for 35 years

I'm selling my 1959 Corvettethat I have owned since 1984
It came from GM withthe290hp fuel injected engine &3-speed TransmissionTotal of9670 corvettes were produced that year &1542 were the Roman Red color &only 745 were sold with the 290hp engine.The VIN shows that it came off theassembly line on Sept 19, 1958.
It has all the correct items that prove it camefrom GM having the 290Hp engine option.Including the high Rpm tach,the oval hole in the firewall behind the distributor,the windshield washer assembly on the passengers side, aluminum heat shield between the battery & the exhaust & the mounting for the air cleaner on the left side inner fender.
When I bought this in 1984it was in the process of being restoredwhen the owner encounteredpersonal problemsthat required he sell before it was completed.
There had been a rebuilt engineinstalled.The numbers on thatengine show it to beoriginallya1965 327/350hp corvetteengine.(The numbers are 3782870 & F0507HT ) Included on the engine were the intake & the 1965 Holley carb.Also installed were tires, brakes, exhaust, paint & bumpers.They also did some welding on the frame, I'm assuming for rust repair.
Over the following years it got to the condition you see now,which includes a new dash pad, carpet & upholstery.Also in the past year I have replaced the gas tank, fuel pump,master cylinder, rubber brake parts,battery, plugs & wires,
At this time in my life it is time for someone else to enjoy this classic.
It is ready for you to enjoy drivingit now,as youpersonalizeit to your taste.Which could include installing the soft top &door panels that are included.Payment will be by bank wire transfer only,with you taking possession after my bank shows cleared funds.
