Description

Here is a 1971 Nova Super Sport that I'm offering for sale. This is a factory SS and I've known the car since the mid 80s. It has a warmed over 350 (NOM),factory 4-speed and 12 bolt posi with 3:73s. This car has 23K original miles and has been sitting since 1984 in a shed. It looks like it still has the factory paint on the car and is factory black on black car with bench seat. The car has PDB and manual steering. I've owned the car for about 5-6 years and have been slowly getting it ready to drive. Below is a list of things I've done to the car or have for it:

*New fuel tank with sending unit. (Sending unit has stopped working)

*New aluminum radiator (original radiator included)

*New brake booster

*New brake proportioning valve

*New rebuilt front calipers

*New rear wheel cylinders

*New shoes and pads

*All new rubber brake lines

*Rebuilt by Bosch starter

*New alternator (Converted to internal regulator with proper plug)

*New water pump

*New Holley 600DP carb (currently needs tuned by someone better at carbs than me)

*New MSD HEI distributor, MSD wires and Autolite plugs

*New heavy duty U-joints

*New carpet (not installed)

*New trunk and door weatherstrip (not installed)

*New seat covers (front only installed)

*New rear springs

*New Hooker headers

*New Summit 2 1/2 inch exhaust (leaks and needs replaced)

*All new hoses/belt

*New heater core

*New 3 spoke steering wheel

*New reproduction trunk mat

*New motor/trans mounts

*New reverse gear and idler for muncie

*New front wheel bearings

The car will run and and drive but the rear window is not currently in the car. There is still several thing left to do to the car and they are listed below:

*Tune the carb (Im not sure if the carb is out of adjustment or if I'm just terrible at carb tuning

*Fix/replace exhaust. I bought a exhaust kit from Summit racing and its true duel exhaust from the headers back. Its 2 1/2 but the passenger side fits terrible and leaks

*Replace hood with correct SS hood (old hood is rusted and has a dent but is included with purchase if you like)

*Replace front windshield (its cracked)

*Rear glass channel has surface rust and needs to be cleaned/sand blasted and rear glass reinstalled

*Install seat covers

*Install carpet

*See why fuel sending unit isn't working

This is a very solid car that will make a great car. I know I've probably left off something so I will be adding to this as things come to mind.
