Thanks for checking out my ad! Today I have a 1969 Chevy Camaro Code:72 Hugger Orange car that has been rebuilt over the years into a Big-Block 454 cid, 4 speed car with both SS and RS features. With all these mods, comes a car with a lot of power that’s fun to drive. The heart of the beast is currently a built 454cid casting number (361959) with 440hp. It has a factory style aluminum intake, with a Brand-new Holley 750 mechanical secondary carb with a dual feed inlet. It has an MSD distributor with MSD coil and Soft Touch rev limiter. The motor has Jet hot coated headers feeding into a true dual exhaust for that deep muscle car sound. The motor is dressed with Billet valve covers, a Muscle car style air cleaner and some chrome pulleys. The radiator is a Ron Davis unit with dual electric fans and a new High flow water pump. The big block is backed up by a Muncie M21 4 speed feeding to a 12 bolt rear end with 3.42 rear gears. The front suspension has been up-graded with a full tubular CCP A-arm kit (upper and lower), Red Delrin bushings, billet cross shafts and up-graded front sway bar. The car is fitted with creature comforts including power steering, power brakes (Disc up front-Drum rear), Vintage A/C that makes those hot summer days enjoyable. The car rolls on classic 15x7 Chevrolet Rally Wheels with correct Derby caps. The tires are brand new Cooper Cobra radial GT. The fronts are 235/60/15 and the rears are 245/60/15.
The nice thing about it is the price at $42500.00 which makes it a truly affordable Muscle car that you will be proud to drive to any car show or use it as a weekend cruiser. This 1969 Camaro is a fine sample of the automobile produced in the first Gen series, and so few get to experience the prestige and exhilaration that occurs with this car. The exterior color is the original Code 72 Hugger Orange fitted with a black vinyl top, ever so elegant and pleasing. The body and floor pans on this Camaro are in great shape no patches or rust. If you look at the photos you will see that all the panels are straight and the gaps are nice. Open the trunk and you will find a clean example of a solid car with correct mat and spare tire cover. The paint is in great condition and is very shiny and smooth with just a few nicks as to be expected from a driver. It has gloss black SS style stripes as well as a Cowl induction hood, trunk spoiler, and a RS hidden headlight conversion. Along with the conversion, Detroit Speed power headlight door motors were added to do away with the vacuum system for reliability. The Black vinyl top is in fantastic condition and really sets off the paint for that classic muscle look. All the glass is clear and in very presentable condition.
Drive this baby through the town, and everyone won't stop staring at it, and of course you...with that large smile on your face. The opulent black interior is sleek, clean and standard, but that's ok because the standard seats are super comfy. There is no panoramic roof, so you will have to forgo star gazing. While this fine sample does come with a man pedal, you will have to row your way thru your own gears enjoying the exhilaration power shifting thru the smooth M21 4-speed tranny that performs flawlessly. You can provide a false sense of hope to your significant other that maybe one day they might be able to also drive this succulent chariot (but let's face it, it will never happen). This vehicle is a piece of artwork and muscle, just waiting for you to engage it. She's still young and fresh enough to provide you years and miles of blissful enjoyment. She is not a trailer queen but a very well-respected car that gets attention everywhere it goes and deserves. Truly no disappointments here of 1st Gen Camaro.
