1957 CHEVROLET BEL AIR/150/210 4 DOOR WAGON, HOT ROD, CLASSIC CRUISER
Description
1957 CHEVROLET 4 DOOR STATION WAGON BEL AIR/150/210
I am assisting my fellow hotrodder to sell his awesome 57' Wagon. It has been his daily for the past couple of months and he put around 1,300 miles on it with few 2 hrs+ trips!! I drove it myself, and it is truly a pleasure to drive - really nice and comfortable.
It is offered at an excellent price as he is trying to finish his other hot rod, which is the only reason he is selling it.
Over the months he has done quite a work on it too to make it a reliable driver. Some details are below:
- Clear and clean TX title in his name- Equipped with V8 350 SBC and Turbo 350 Automatic transmission- New intake and Holley Carb- Engine runs very smooth with no knocks, rattles or smoke- Transmission shifts nicely- All new fluids- It does not leak nor burn oil- Working A/C and Heater!!- Brand new Radiator - car runs cool and has no overheating issues- Working power steering - very easy to drive and steer- Upgraded to 4 wheel disc brakes with new pads!!!- It has been lowered front and back. It has a great stance- Upgraded posi 8.5 10 bolt rear end- Brand new dual exhaust from headers back - 2.5" pipe with 40s flowmeter - has nice rumble to it, but it is not loud- Brand new gas tank- Corvette rallies with very good tires- The interior is little faded, but it is clean and very presentable- Seats are very nice with no major rips (there is a small rip on the front bench at the bottom side)- Headliner is clean and tight- It has a nice stereo system with 4 speakers - looks like original but has modern working aux port- Clock is working!- It has working after market temp gauge, speedometer works and gas gauge works intermittently- There is no key to the car- All lights including brake and indicator lights work- Glass has nice tint to it, and it is in good shape with exception of the front passenger side window that has crack, but it is still functional
Overall, it is a killer and complete 57' Wagon. It does have the Bel Air insignia on it (however the VIN suggests it is 2100 series and not 2400 series - we have not investigated this further, but I wanted to mention it)
The exterior of the car is overall good. There is minimal bondo that magnet test would suggest; however, it does have some spots of rust, scratches, few dents and paint bubbling all around. Please note it is priced accordingly!
The frame is solid but there are few holes and patches in the floors - nothing major from what I could see, but they are there - again, priced accordingly.
Last thing I wanted to mention is that front tires will rub slightly when doing a full/sharp turn due to the lowering of the front. Changing existing tires for skinnier tires would solve this issue, but since this wagon is used as a cruiser, it was never addressed as tires do not rub under normal driving/cruising. Also, the car never bottomed up!
I have many more photos of the wagon with all the details as well as video of it running. Please do not hesitate to ask, and I will gladly supply them. Also, please ask all and every questions, and I will give you honest answer. I want you to be happy with the purchase. I sold bunch of cars on EBay with excellent feedback and intend to keep it that way.
Car has little over 53400 miles on it right now, but no way knowing if they are actual so will be sold with mileage Exempt
