Description

1970 Chevy Chevelle SS 396 project car. True SS car verified with GM of Canada paperwork. No worrying about whether it's real or not. It's a real Code 75 Cranberry Red car with black stripes and black bucket seat interior, and black vinyl top. This car has all the most sought after options. 4spd, bucket seats, tach and gauges, red, and cowl induction. Unfortunately, the original engine is long gone. I do have a 1966 396 that I am including with the sale. Someone at some point put a 350 small block and turbo 350 into the car. I am going to pull that motor out because its' locked up. I do have the original numbers matching M-21 and the original CCF code 12 bolt is still in the car along with the F41 accessories. I do not have the shifter, bellhousing or clutch. The body will need some attention. With any 49 year old car that spent its' life in the Northeast part of the country, there will be some rust issues. The LH quarter, floor and fenders will need replaced. The RH quarter, trunk and doors will need some work but are repairable. The previous owner also added a tilt wheel column, but the original one is included. This is a solid project car that can be restored and at the end of the day you'll have a real version of the most cloned muscle car every.
