Description
1956 GMC 100 fully original California truck, over $10,000 in past year, fresh build. Rebuilt and painted original Pontiac 316 motor, all new gaskets, rebuilt original transmission, new GM Disk brakes front, Power brakes with master cylinder mounted properly under driver's side frame, new drums/cylinders/shoes in rear, new wheels and tires, entire underneath hand painted POR15, new exhaust and Raptor muffler, new full painless wire harness, new tail lights, new HID headlights, new turn signals, custom LED turn signal dash indicators, 12V system with new alternator, new water pump, new fuel pump, new oil pump, spin off adapter, new aluminum radiator, rebuilt carburetor, all new plugs, wires, heads pulled and milled/shaved, pistons/ring/bearings bored .40 over, restored Cal Custom valve covers, all new hoses, belts, gas lines, brake lines, new gas tank and sending unit, new floor mat with entire interior floor POR 15, new headliner and visor, new dome light cover, new side mirror, new 5 year battery, new battery cables, new shifting bushings etc., new gas pedal and assembly, new light switches, fuses, ignition, timing chain, fully rebuilt rear end with all new gears, new axle bearings, seats, ring and pinion, 4 brand new KYB shocks all the way around, original wood planks and rails in bed, the list goes on and on.
ALL WORK PERFORMED BY A MASTER MECHANIC AT A SHOP.....I PAID FOR IT. 100's of hours of labor, entire underneath painted POR 15 - everything. Everything looks brand new underneath. Everything attended to for the perfect restored daily driver. Wiring harness done very clean, and all remaining extra wires are marked for any add ons wanted. Full year rebuild with less than 100 miles on everything. Truck spent most of it's life in California, no rust in floor pans, no frame or underneath rust, the absolute only places of rust are the one small lower rust on exterior of passenger side front fender - very easy patch and mostly surface rust near the turn signals. The older bed steps are chrome and have surface rust only. Body has one small dent on drivers door. I do have walk around videos of the truck running, and tons of pictures of the full rebuild step by step. Full picture proof of all motor work, brake work, etc. New owner will get all the pictures.
There are a few very minor details to make the truck perfect (Speedo hook up, needs choke assembly on carb, dimmer switch mounted, just things I ran out of time to finish) but anyone buying this truck will have nearly no worries at all mechanically. There were no corners cut whatsoever. Truck is sold as is. Clean and Clear title in my name, and VIN plate has never been tampered with.
