1957 Chevy Bel Air
Description
1957 Chevy Bel Air. This car had been sitting in storage for at least 5 years. This is a two owner car before we bought it. Exterior is very nice, has had a repaint at some point in it's life. The under carriage is also very nice, this car was undercoated. We have went through this car in detail and it runs very well. Drives straight down the road with no drifting. Mileage shows less than 52,000 and we believe it is actual miles but the Indiana title will show mileage exempt due to its age. The following is what is repaired /new: Rebuilt carburetor, distributor, points, plugs etc. All new fluids, new tires, brakes. Wiring to lights repaired and in working order. Serviced the transmissio, has no leaks and shifts properly. NO rust on body or frame, some minor issues with a few nicks, scratches, etc on the paint, but still a good local car show quality. Headliner is okay, not the original. Door panels and seats will need redone, carpet is fine. The glass is all good except a corner of the rear passenger window. (see picture). The radio and clock do not work. Turn signals and lights work fine and dash lights work. Heater blower works. Gas gauge and temp gauge is hit and miss on working properly. This is a almost 60 year old car and it is sold as is, yet we have had it repaired and inspected by a very seasoned mechanic shop that I have other classics repaired by, I don't like surprises on any vehicle that people fail to disclose, thus we have fixed and inspected to the best to our knowledge.
This is a great car to drive now and put your own finishing touch to the interior!
