Description

1955 Chevrolet BelairClone(210) 4 DoorSedan Chevy Classic Cruiser
Sea Mist & Neptune Green
This car is a 210 by VIN number, but it has been made into a Bel Air clone using original and reproduction trim.
I purchased this car 5 years ago when I lived in Virginia from a seller in Georgia, it's now located in South Bend, Indiana. It's in good shape and I've only driven it locally on weekends, probably not more than 300 miles. It has been in my garage during summer and in storage during winter. I purchased this car to cruise in, I am not a TriFive expert so please don't bother asking me which parts are original because I have no idea. I am selling because I am moving and can no longer store the car.
The car starts and runs fine, I gave it a $1,500 tune up last summer with an oil change. It's fun to drive and I get a lot of appreciative looks and thumbs up cruising around.
The paint is driver quality. There are small chips and dings here and there, but nothing major. Slight rust in a few areas, but again, nothing major. I never let the car get wet.Power steering and brakes were added before I bought the car, they work fine.
  • Dual exhaust.
  • New battery installed March 2019.
  • Lap seat beltsinstalled in both the front and back.
  • When I bought the car the steering wheel had already been replaced by an aftermarketmodel, so the horn doesn't work.
  • The original radio has been replaced with a Kenwood stereo (old!) and two Jenson speakers installed in the back. It does work, you can pretend you're back in the 80's.
  • The interior is nice, there are no rips or tears in the upholstery and the headliner is fine.
  • Carpet is in good condition, no big stains. Chevy logo floor mats.
  • The clock does not work.
  • Some idiot cut the radio antenna off, but does make it easier to put the car cover on (included in auction).
  • The windshield has 2 small chips, and the passenger side rear window is cracked. All the windows roll up and down fine.
  • All the doors open and close fine, the locks all work.
  • There is an aftermarket A/C system installed that works.
  • The trunk and floor pans are in good shape.
  • The spare tire is flat.
  • Have key for the gas tank.
  • Also included in winning bid, 2 heavy duty Bilstein front shocks that haven't been installed yet - the pair runs about $200.

This is the information I received from the previous owner:
This 1955 Chevy Bel Air 4 Door has a 350 engine that was built around 2008 and has probably 10,000 miles on it. It is connected to a smooth shifting 350 Turbo Transmission that was installed at the same time the engine was.
I have a valid, clean Indiana title to the vehicle.
This car is described to the best of my knowledge and will be sold as-is with no warranty.
I have included a deposit requirement for this auction, please don't bid if you are not planning on winning and making the full payment.
The successful bidder must make the entire payment in full IN CASH that will be handed over to meat my bankfor the keys and the signed title, or by a bank to bank wire transfer. For the bank to bank transfer the sale will not be completed until the funds are verified to be in my account.
I am NOT willing to let a buyer give me partial payments, I won't take personal checks/money orders/cashiers checks, nor am I interested in trading vehicles. If I suspect a scam I'll report you to eBay and the police immediately.
The car must be paid for and removed fromitspresent location within 10 calendar days of the conclusion of the auction by the auction winner. The seller is not responsible for arranging or paying for shipping of the vehicle.
Please message me with any questions or for a link to an 8 minute detailed video of the Chevy.
Happy bidding!
