Description
1969 Camaro. Fantastic USA Muscle. Recent, (approximately 8 years ago), rotisserie restored car. OEM except for the engine. The original 396 engine in this car could not be saved; so the owner at the time, (also owned a sprint car racing team), had his engine builder build a streetable engine for the car, (see specs below). You'll agree, no expense has been spared, period.Exterior is Gorgeous. Paint is near perfect. Interior features newupholstery, new carpet, new headliner, and console with fully functional gauges, (the original AMP gauge replaced by a volt gauge). It all works properly. The car is currently outfitted with Centerline Racing Wheels, (period correct), but also comes with the original style, correct Rally Wheels, (perfect condition). Suspension is also new and the car rides as the factory intended.
I've had it for about 5 years, and it's been fun taking it to shows and club meetings, but it's time to move on.Now for what you've been waiting to read- THE ENGINE-

This motor runs strong but is very street friendly. On 92 Octane it runs perfectly. It does NOT run hot. This motor has never seen the drag stip. You can take it, but I haven't.The motor runs excellent and is very RELIABLE. When you pull up, heads will turn. Please take a minute to watch a short video of the car starting and idling at: https://youtu.be/6nqE1Oc4gOc

I do believe this car to be an original RS/SS. It has a 12 bolt rearend (3.73 gears), front disc brakes, (appear to be original), and quick ratio steering.
I have the carbons of the build list and a big pile of receipts.
Rated horsepower is 600+. The original owner claims it dyno's at 630; I've not seen the dyno sheets, nor have I had it on the Dyno.
Transmission is Muncie M22.
Tires are all over 90%, less than 4 years old.
