font rwr="1" >1967 Chevy Camaro SS Convertible Presented By: GARRETT CLASSICSclassic and collector car sales and consignment1865 McGee Lane, Ste FLewisvile, TX 75077Call Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 We are very proud to present this awesome 67 Camaro Convertible. Believe it or not, we have a notebook filled with over $100,000. in receipts for this great looking vehicle. There is no item on this car that was not gone over, engine, transmission, hoses, belts, bushings, brakes, suspension body, everything that could be checked was. The current owner purchased the car in 2006 from Street Dreams which was located in Sugar Land, Texas at the time. He originally took the car to Sanderson Customs and Conversions in 2008 to have some upgrades done. We have a CD of all work done along with all receipts. The engine was rebuilt as well as the transmission. At that time over $25,000. was spent. Enjoy the video road test & tour of this 1967 Camaro here. The body is exceptional on this Camaro. There appears to be no Bondo or filler on most all of the car and in the receipts and a CD of photos, the little bit of rust that was on the car when purchased was completely done away with. Here are the areas taken care of. You can see from our photos just how nice the paint is on this car. Since in 1967 the SS was a trim package, there were only e few things that made it a true SS. One was the engine. All SS Camaros were either a 350 ci 295 HP or a 396 cu in engines. The code on this block shows it to be a 350/295hp. In 1967 there was no code in the VIN to designate an SS. HOwever, there is a P on the lower left of the Trim tag which can designate a true SS in the Norwood built cars built after October. Some of the interior appears to be original. The seats and carpet have been replaced, but the door panels and much of the dash look to be the original. The 350 ci engine was gone over at Sandersons and the TH400 transmission was rebuilt. A 2200 stall converter was also added. In 2014 the owner still wanted more performance. He took thecar to HCC in Dallas. There they went over the engine again and installed the 4L60e transmission. The book of invoices has all details and we wouldbe glad to discuss the car in more detail. At that time, another $29,000. was spent on the car. There is so much to list that you would get tired of reading. If you are interested in the car, please call for more details. We understand that there are so many Chevy blocks that have been re-stamped. This appears to be a matching number 350ci V-8 and the casting number is. The block also has the partial VIN# which appears to be the original stamping. I could not get a clear picture of the casting number, but looked with a scope and found 3892657 which is a 1967 Camaros. The data tag looks to be original as well. The car was not black originally. However, it looks fabulous in Tuxedo Black. The current owner of this car truly enjoyed driving it. He was not into taking it to car shows. He just enjoyed what the car was about, and that was the performance of the car after he spent a great deal of money on bringing it to the car he wanted. The undercarriage is undetailed and shows that its owner enjoyed driving it. It wouldn't take much to bring it to show quality if that's what you are looking for. Again, this is an exceptional vehicle. The paint and mechanicals are excellent. You can hop in this car and drive it anywhere. Thank you for viewingour ad.
