Previous owner had it for almost 40 years. Purchased this car from the previous owner about 9 years ago. It had not run in about 18 years. I got it running, however I pulled the gas tank and have not replaced yet. The body appears to never have been off the frame. Want to say I was the first person to take the deck lid and trunk lid off! One of the photos even shows an ink stamped date, July 10 1957, which I found under the hinge on the trunk mount!
This was a presentable running vette, before I stripped paint, trim and removed gas tank. In order to run, it would need gas tank installed. In order to stop, it would need a brake job. This is NOT a project car that is missing a bunch of parts or that has been totally stripped down and taken off the frame. It is a clean California car, that will make a great driver with little work, a high dollar restoration candidate or perhaps a Resto-Mod candidate.
Photos show it now in bare glass, so you can see the condition of the body. Drivers front fender has a repair, rest of fiberglass on the car is pretty good. Photos show both before and after the paint/ strip.
Please ask questions. You are encouraged to come see this car in person to evaluate.
No warranty, Sold As-is.
