Description

This is a 1971 Corvette 454 with a 4 speed that had 66,800 miles on it when I bought it. It had been repainted the original Brand Hatch Green color. It now has 67,890 miles on it and during that time the car has been rebuilt in great part. It now has a new heavy duty radiator, new power steering pump, and a new power brake booster. The air conditioner has been refurbished. I installed a new professionally built big block which produces 425 hp with 10:1 compression and contains an Iskenderian hydraulic street/strip cam, stainless steel valves, aluminum rectangular port heads, roller rocker arms, hardened push rods, double row timing set, Melling oil pump and single plane manifold. Electric is provided by a rebuilt chromed alternator, a Pertronix ignition system with wires and a heavy duty coil. Gas is provided by a Holly 770 Street Avenger Ultra carb with a K&N air filter. The drive train has a new McLeod Street Pro clutch and the transmission has been rebuilt with new synchronizers and a new stock shift lever on top. The rear differential is stock with new seals. The car rides on a new performance suspension system with a composite mono spring. New mufflers and pipes completes the mechanicals. The interior has been refurbished in great part with a new dash, door panels with trim, carpet, insulation, shift consul housing, seat covers and padding, sun visors, seat belts, floor mats, rear window, door sill plates, rocker panels, rear compartments and new battery. The front tires, rear bumpers, license plate frame, weather stripping and emblems are new. The gauges and radio are all original and work except for the clock and fiber optics. The original steering wheel and shift knob are included but have been replaced with custom wood ones.This is NOT a Numbers Matching car.
